HE HAS DONE THAT ALL YEAR AND HAS NEVER BEEN CALLED FOR DOING IT!!! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE :censored: KIDDING ME :censored: :censored: :censored:

Terrible, we should be up by 7 right now and on defense, and now it's still 0-0 since we just missed the field goal. None of you can imagine how :censored: pissed I am right now. Which crew is working this game??? :x

that was a bs call...a promising drive and we end up missing the field goal...should of figured that...geeeze....but i have to say one thing i like how our line is playing so far...after clausen completed that long pass i saw a linemen tap him on the head like nice going...

well, at least after that kick, we know why charlie went for it on 4th against navy. :x

Sorry guys, I don't think I'll be getting over that penalty anytime soon.....

Are you over it yet GoIrish? :D

2 TD passes usually help.

lol yeah, a little bit... But we should still be up 21-0!!!

I know Brandon Walker is only a freshman and everything, but that FG summed up ND's whole season. At a major college program you simply have to make that kick. First we give Burkhart a scholarship and he's what, 3rd on the depth chart? Now Walker, who's supposed to be our answer at kicker. He's looked awful all month. You can't miss chip shots. I'm probably just venting because of all the kicking troubles we've had this season, but yeah its frusterating. At this point I'd kill for Nick Setta and probably even DJ Fitzpatrick.

Another thing, its pretty obvious that Notre Dame has one of the worst fields in D1 football. What a sorry excuse for a field. You watch other natural grass fields and they don't tear up and wear down the way our field does. It doesn't help our team and it doesn't make for great football. You'd think for all the resources we have we could as least produce an adequate field for our student athletes. They may have well played on sand today.

The announcers made several comments during the game saying they were tearing up the current field and replacing it for next year. They also said they were bringing in some experts from the NFL on field maintenance. Aside from the result of the game, that was the best thing i heard all day!!

Hey GoIrish....I LOVE your Avatar!

I was gonna make a thread about that:

Duval Kamara and Robby Parris seriously look like the second coming of Maurice Stovall and Jeff Smardjiza doing that high five they always do when they make touchdowns...Man, nothing ever made me smile so big:D

lol yeah I know I seriously started calling Kamara Stovall yesterday hahaha

Just to restate.... we went to big East offricials this year for home games. I gotta admit.. SEC blah blah or big ten allows more ummmmmm differences. I do agree with Weis that we have a common pool of officials calling a common rule. That is to say if they are not bribed.

Big EAst are the worst of all, thats sad to hear. The fake fair catch signal - Big East. There are many more I'm aware of since this is a Big East town.

I know they said they are replacing the field after this season, but my question is how in the world did it get that bad to begin with? I went to the SC game unfortunately, and it just looked like it had a fungus or disease or something. It was very spotty. The thing that bothers me is it's not like we've been playing in the rain and snow for the past 2 years. Yesterday's rain was the first time it's rained at a home game in quite some time.

Bad call on Carlson , However it is a little crappy as Lou use to say act like you have been there before , the official was correct in making this call. i don't agree but you have to stop the taunting somewhere , so therefore keep it up and you will get another 15. end of subject. rules are rules . sorry . go irish 8)

EVEN THE ANNOUNCERS SAID IT WAS QUESTIONABLE! That means something.

it was a first down sign, not taunting. gotta let the kids get excited. it's not like he pointed at any of the duke players.

I thought the second one was worse. When the Duke player fielded the punt and his knee slid down. That happened right in front of me and even though the guys knee was down, there was no whistle from the official standing right there to kill the play.

Also can anyone tell me what happened on the last unsportsmanlike they called on us. That looked like a clean play also but they guy might have been out of bounds, the Duke players were blocking my line of sight.

Thanks,
