My list and "educated prediction" is a combination of what Pete Carroll said, what my source close to the program has told me, tidbits I've picked up from some SC recruiting sites, among other things.

 

The good news (for you guys) is that ND is low on this list.

Did they tell you Omar isn't taking calls, changed his number? You might get Crist on the line, only because he's polite....then again you don't want him anyways, you got Barkley coming next year. I hope you're having fun trying to start rumors.....only problem is no one is biting. Why not "Fight Off"?

Scotty - go back to all my previous posts before signing day last year. I think my previous posts have had some credibility and allow me some benefit of the doubt.

I'm not attacking your credility Fighton, I was wondering what your motivations are. Imagine the reaction if I went to an SC board and started the same thread. If I jumped on you I apologize. In the same vein I probably posted the same thing other DD'ers would have thought reading your thread. I have no problem with you being here (not that it would matter if I did), I do take exception to threads based on rumor. If it's something "inside", please keep it between you and your buddies that are in the know.

While I usually enjoy your posts, FightOn, I think this one is going a little too far. Usually, you provide some kind of info to back something up. This post just looks like you are trying to slap us in the face. No info, just like you're 'teasing" us.

 

Word your differently, or even better yet, don't start any threads like this that don't include something "real."

what real "INFORMATION" is there? sounds like more a weak "threat."

they won't poach much after the NCAA removes scholarships and Petey runs like a rat.

all i'm trying to say is that SC is going after several recruits already committed elsewhere and that, based on what i know, they are likely to get some to switch on their decommitments.

 

the purpose was also to get some discussion going on the board because ND is also trying to poach some UCLA commits, already poached a Nebraska commit, and that SC insiders still think that O. Hunter visits in December.

 

and yes, there is "information" in my posts. sometimes i can't divulge information that i know, but i can hint at it (i.e. joe mcknight last year).

Considering the current state of the USC program I would probably consider watching your own recruits as opposed to trying to poach other schools. Last I heard kids were transferring or preparing to transfer and recruits are thinking about backing out as well. Actually scratch that. Keep focusing on the other schools. We should start poaching some of those USC kids. Their program is on the verge of a SMU/Miami type of downfall and we are entering the return to greatness. Oh wait I forgot USC only has like one commit we would take.

FightOn, I kinda enjoy your posts. Don't listen to these other guys... I think you're alright, despite the fan base you align yourself with. At least you arent calling for Charlie's head or looking at possibilities for new head coaches. On the totem pole I put those guys at the bottom with you at least halfway up. Actually, I find our fans like that dispicable. Anyway, I'm glad you don't take offense to ome of the things said on here. It is good to get another perspective. I do hate your school with a passion, though, especially after living in LA... Ha!
