to get into Notre Dame. Also IE has rumors from II about a new commit soon.

Hmmmmm.......

Anyone know anything?

Maybe it's the limecat. Can we work him into this equation somehow? Perhaps some victory Coronas with a lime courtesy of Limecat? Victories...ahhh...remember those?

Victories???? What is this thing called "victory" you speak of??? :D

Looking forward to Baldwin coming to the irish. It will be nice to be able to put 3-4 good receivers on field and let them draw attention so our RB's don't get smoked at the line all the time. Plus it will be nice to have more than 1-2 main targets.

Rumors are flying all over about Baldwin coming to ND. That would be awesome but has he ever been to ND before? It seems a little strange that he would commit without ever seeing the school.

Germany, I think he's been to ND at least twice, both unofficials though.

Thats great. I hope the rumors are true. Keep your fingers crossed.

Can you frickin imagine this set:

Duval Kumara 6'5" ~ 225 (Powerful, great hands)

Mike Floyd 6'3"~ 200 (True gamebreaker)

Golden Tate/John Goodman/Parris (Any one of these guys could dominate)

Jonathon Baldwin 6'6" ~ 235 (A true R. Moss-like mis-match)

Kyle Rudolph 6'6" ~ 229 (Scary good)

Who can match up with that? I don't think anyone can. If Jimmy or Dayne have ANY time to throw, it's over. We are going to crush people. As Charlie says..."Enjoy it now!"

Oh man, I hope the rumors are true. I going to quit thinking about it because I dont want to jinx it.

If we do get Baldwin, my wish for this class will have come true....

if ND lands baldwin then CW will have finally landed the jackpot at WR with goodman, floyd and baldwin. what a recruiting year ND is having.

yea apparently his SAT score was a 1130. That's not even borderline for a kid who was rumored to be waiting to be cleared with over a 3.0 GPA in high school.

Though, Golden Tate had to go through the same thing and then qualified on the ACT with flying colors as well.

has he ever been to ND before?

I'm pretty sure he took an unofficial but not sure about that.

Rock i love ya thanks for the laugh..."Your pretty sure but not sure on that." I don't mean to offend it's exactly how this twisted seaon has my brain cells going. Sorta for me, I am pretty sure I am unsure about what I was sure of before i became unsure

Baldwin previously visited ND on his own dime. I like him a lot as a player. I do not think he is the burner that some have suggested. I think he is more of a big target in the Mo Stovall mold. I have seen some folks post that he has 4.4 speed. I don't think that is the case, I think he is closer to a 4.6 guy, but there is nothing wrong with that at his size. Baldwin is a productive football player.

The problem I have with the football playing basketball team we are putting on the field is two-fold. 1) These guys don't get separation which wouldn't be a problem because they are naturally open, even when covered due to their height, but 2) our QBs don't do what you are supposed to do with tall receivers which is throw it up! What is the point of having tall ass receivers if you are waiting for them to get open like a smaller quicker receiver? You recruit big bastards so you can run fades and throw it up to them! This is where sharpley and clausen have pissed me off a little. Tate plays like a 6'6 reciever. It appears that these QBs have gotten too locked up in Charlie's X's & O's instead of using common sense. Just my opinion, though, but it has worked for Memphis to throw it up to their big 6'6 and 6'8 receivers. Hell, Moss is not always open, but through his athleticism and size can make a play against a corner who is all over him. Anyway, that's my 2 cents. If we aren't going to throw it up, we need a bunch of little fast guys who can get wide open.
