the two players ND could really not afford to lose would e omar hunter and probbly dayne crist. i just hope ND can some how hold on until NSD.

anybody in favor of an early signing period now?

Every time a report comes out about which player might decommit, Hunter's name is usually the only ever mentioned. I guess the other schools have all fallen in love him. Which would be great news, if it weren't for the fact that we might still lose him.

Hopefully he just wants to take a trip and our coaching staff can hold onto him. The one thing on our side is that Corwin Brown has made a really great impact on all of these kids, so hopefully that relationship will be too big an obstacle for other school's to overcome.

Won't believe it till I see it.

Don't like that his next game is Nov. 9, that gives him plenty of time to make an extended trip to the West coast.

If true. This is someone that the staff has to fight over. ND has to look elsewhere but they can't pull his schollie.

Every report I see says that he is 100% irish and then 2 days later there are all of these rumors, I really hope we keep this kid, he is really special.

Well it's up to the staff to show progress. I have no problem with a recruit that is committed to a team that has been blown out in it's last 10 losses to re-evaluate his commitment. When another team loses by 7 and that's the biggest margin that they have lost by in 6 years, that's saying something. ND needs to start playing better(WINNING) before we can say we are confident in these recruits pledges.

So you did want to start something.

Omar liked ND because of its small town feel. If he's does a 180 for tinseltown then that is very surprising. And so far from home? USC is wishing but it won't happen.

If he really is looking around, I think Michigan could be a player. We all remember how much he liked the Wolverines before his surprise commitment - and they are definitely on an upswing right now.

Every report I see says that he is 100% irish

yeah, there's been a few different articles with omar saying he's all irish. besides he could come in and get a lot of playing time from day one, i dont think that would be the case at USC.

But could he get to hang with Will Ferrel, The Fonz, Nick Lachey, and every other D list celebrity at ND? I don't know. I'm getting more and more worried now that I think about it.

(Heavy sarcasm if you can't detect it)

You forgot Snoop DOGG

Will Ferrell is not D-list. Comparing him to the fonz and Nick Lachey is erroneous on all counts.

You forgot Snoop DOGG

I can hear the Snoop now in Omar's ear:

Omar you're the shizzle

to make USC sizzle

Forget the Irish as they frizzle

out the season with no hizzle

Okay, I'll take back Will Ferrell, but what has he done recently? I can't deny classic Ferrell-SNL, Old School. But Blades of Glory? Come on.

He was Ricky Bobby in Talladega Nights. :D
