Very good point. UNC Kept their Nickel in for most of the game(4-2-5). I drew it up below. If anyone is interested count the guys bunched in the middle of the field(the linebackers). 1 is a dime. 2 is a nickel and 3 is base defense, well used to be. Many teams now play Nickel as their base.
