37-10 Owls only cross the goal line if we give them a short field(turnover) or late against 2nd stringers. We should truly dominate in all aspects but first game jitters and lots of running keep us from dropping 50+

Unfortunately, Dayne Crist is cursed like ND football...... I came to a similar conclusion.

I've always thought it could be cool to have a designated section (maybe in one of the endzones) for superfans. Similar to Cleveland Browns "Dawg Pound"......they would be expected to have signs, crazy outfits, and be going nuts all game.

Wouldn't mind seeing names on the jerseys for this game. I like the idea of doing that once a year............When was the last time we did green with names on back?

Florida definitely has to play mistake free to have a chance in this game. P.S. I love how armchair qbs, bloggers, high school heroes, and the like continue to criticize Weis. His JOB/LIFE is coordinating an offense at the highest level of competition. He has worked with some of the best in the game and is paid millions to do what he does. I think this Sunday I'm going to stand up in the middle of mass and call out my priest on his biblical interpretations. P.P.S. Nothing mean spirited here......Go Irish!

It would be fine for basketball and the rest of the sports I suppose.....but I don't see the appeal for football to go there.

Wow Week #4 has some tough games to call!

Is there anything out there regarding Jarron's preference in positions? Particularly on his feelings about a potential switch to OT? He looks like he really carries his weight well (if he is anywhere around the 3 bill mark). If he is still growing (approaching 6'7") he could easily show up at 310...320! For a FRESHMAN!!................That is a monster DE but sounds like an OT to me.

1.) What BlackIrish said: Our linebackers are lethal but none of them are Aces in pass coverage. 2.) I still am not 100% convinced of our speed in space (I will be sweating bricks if Denard breaks outside the pocket.)

You are 100% right, IF he continues to progress he will be a can't miss 1st rounder and potentially top 5. Not only do you have to look at Teo from an athletic on the field standpoint, but he is the prototype for a great leader in the locker room. Not many(if any) linebackers combine his physical talents, toughness, and fight, while still being a true gentleman and great leader.

Nope we just do it best!
