Yeah, I think they need to be in the mix to keep these guys. I just don't remember having ANY of these kind of guys in the mix this time last year. I think we're ahead with a bunch of legit dudes. Just gotta get 'em home.
Carr just interviewed, said he's solid. They're talking to him daily, doing basic playbook install (so he better stick). Aneyas Williams seems vocally solid, as well. Dude is going to push the RB room even farther, IMO. Cam Williams is a top 50 guy too - 4 star plus.
Guys that are trending are the other big-time names. Justin Scott, Guerby Lambert. Is Ryan Wingo still possible? A few other 4 star LBs, OL, and DBs seem to be leaning Irish, too.
Ryan wings ship sailed. I would say Scott is 60/40 Irish at moment. We for sure are in better place than last year at this time but we must pick up the pace

Any update on why prince and sneed didn't practice?

Great hire let’s go!

That list says to me this will take awhile

It would be surprising to name Watt, but after Parker, who knows.
I would think a majority of current P5 OL coaches would crawl through broken glass to coach ND, which is one of the Top 3 schools for OL. Can you imagine getting the opportunity to coach potentially two First Round OTs, Alt (2024) and Fisher (2025)? Not to mention a returning OC, and solid options at OG - Kristofic, Schrauth, etc.
I would think ND could be very choosy with this hire.
Makes you wonder why Harry left

What a debacle. Fire Jack Swarbrick immediately, we are ND and this is what we are going to end up with? An OC and HC learning on the job?! I hope he does well but can't see Gerad Parker outcoaching USC, OSU, or any top program.
Can you see him being a better coach than Tommy is the question

In Jerad Parker we trust

Pretty sure this on Ron Powless . A he thought buyout was 450 k B. He wasn’t a fan of Ludwig

I keep reading that a guy who is under the radar could be Brian Ferentz

Notre Dame is tight on numbers, Safety is way down on the priority list right now. Even after excluding all the rumored transfers, Notre Dame is still at 90 scholarships.
Once kids graduate in spring scholarships will be fine.

Couple thoughts
everyone gets something, but not the same. This essentially allows you to have a better walk on program, which is important at ND.
I would imagine the next three days will be busy with out going and in coming guys . Buckle up

That’s unfortunate. He should look at Theo Riddick. He’s not going to be the bell cow in the NFL like a Derrick Henry.
It’s one of reasons he was in dog house last season. I understand wanting to be a rb but if the team needs a slot guy come on man do your job

No way Love goes to D. He has the skill set that nobody else on the team has. Kiser for sure is staying. Tyree for sure should say, I'm the utility guy. I know everything at the rb position, put in the slot and let me learn that. Let me run punts back. Treat me as an everything back to get my touches. Which, I think he can do if he trains there.
They asked him to play slot he said no

I agree with most names. But with 2 RB decommits, Tyree might stay. Kiser is a starter, so doubt he leaves. And the Ehrensberger will stay for degree. If he graduates in the spring, maybe?
Tyree didn’t play this year with current roster and they have Love who going to play Freshman year. It’s time to move on if I am him maybe go to Houston??? I doubt Kiser gets asked back for 6 th year

The Irish have to be at 85 scholarships or fewer by the first day of fall-semester classes (Aug. 22) and are currently at 94 in late December.

Agree with both of you. Just want Nana really to step up, and kill it. I had big hopes when he committed. He's been very quiet...
Article posted a few weeks ago, Jr has been splitting time between MIKE and Vyper. At 240+ already, makes me lean to Vyper. Wish he had another 1 or 2 inches of height.
Burnum is next vyper

I’m still holding out hope for Hudson Card….any news on that end?
With him having 3 years left I don’t see him a fit. Staff would prefer a 1 and done here

DeLand McCulloughs son is actively recruiting Bowen to OU on twitter.
I'd be giving Coach McCollough the opportunity to follow his son and Bowen to OU immediately.
This made me laugh out loud thanks I needed that today

As long as upfront cash is "against the rules", ND isn't going to play that game, which I get. That being said, other schools absolutely are. The ONLY way I see competing against that, is doing better than everyone else at taking care of the players on your roster. I'm not sure that that's happening either. I know KH14 and Mayer did well, even Foskey and maybe a few others. I also know ALL ND players get something. Just not sure we are the cream of the crop for NIL with players currently on the roster.
pretty sure kh14 was highest paid NIL in college football his last year
-
I think everyone really needs to chill. Take a step back and look at the goalposts. We are not ever going to give kids money upfront not happening. So how do you get a championship? How do you get to even the championship game for a chance to win? Coaches have got to develop kids into 5 star talents and most importantly we need to get a QB. If you start winning kids will come so get a high level QB who can carry your team (c j carr ) then have coaches get the most out of your players. Easy peasy let’s go Irish !

Seems like this is him saying "I'm going to Oklahoma but it's not because of the NIL money."
He can’t say anything about money it’s illegal to say I am going thanks for the cash.

We would have a helluva lot better chance to win a championship with both than without both i can guarantee you that. That isnt even including keeley
Guess we will find out in 3 years.
