Isn’t he drew Pyne 2.0 ?

Barring something major changing with other prospects very, very recently, I would lean toward Minchey.
He is a stud

You are correct. Someone is always upset, literally always.
And when we win the First Natty someone will bitch we didn’t win by more

It appears ND will land a 2023 QB.

The scary part is QBs are transferring the second they find out they will not be the starter. Imagine if we get a transfer and recruit for next year, or if we just get a transfer. I could see Pyne and Buchner both leaving. We’re almost going to have to start recruiting guys like Avery Davis, who can play DB or WR, but jump back to QB in case of an emergency.
Where is this happening? I don’t see this it at many schools at all. Most big schools have 3 top qbs . Where you see it is if a player gets beat out

Who cares takes this out of the recruiting section

The primary names to know for this weekend:
AZ QB Roch Cholowsky [Offer]: 247 Composite NR
TX WR Kaleb Smith [Offer, Texas Tech Verbal]: 247 Composite 3* 0.85
GA ATH Khalil Barnes [Offer]: 247 Composite 3* 0.86
TX S Peyton Bowen [ND Verbal ^*]: 247 Composite 5* 0.98
Bowen is must keep. I would love to see a better qb option on campus for this game though sad times

We really could use a vypher for the 23 class. Any chance we flip a kid? Find a project? Numbers are slim in the vypher room

Any idea who the committed elsewhere player is coming Saturday?

He is announcing tomorrow (likely OSU) so that would seem like a waste of the minimal effort it would take to offer him.
That’s a great spot for the kid to learn and slowly grow as a QB.

So, if I were a betting man, where would be the better odds?
All 3 end up at ND?
All 3 end up at A&M?
or ND keeps Bowen but loses Love and Novosad?
Love and Bowen are ND Novosad is between baylor and nd coin flip

I don't think flipping high end QBs happens as often as you think unless there was a coaching change. I'd love to get a blue chip every year, we should take a QB every year regardless. Besides there are a plethora of reasons why we don't try or have difficulty doing so. One biggie IMO is our offense isn't very exciting, and we haven't had a premier QB who got better every year and was highly drafted. Maybe that changes with MF.
I would be calling Jackson Arnold the minute Moore says no. He was begging them to take him in the Feb

No, not yet. Carr may reclassify, but the timing of everything QB related in 2023 was coincidentally awful. ND should have gone with Vizzina. I will post my opinion/thoughts when the 2023 QB board cleans up officially.
Why can’t we flip a QB every other school flips players why can’t we?

I would say no. ND was on Love very early and finally convinced Young much later so the odds are much better with Love.
They will take all 3

Elijah Paige is my guess

hearing rumblings ND is moving on from Dante Moore and CJ Carr may reclassify to 2023 class. I am totally against both of these ideas. It seems Dante's father is not for his son going to N D. Parents ugh

Reading what Big wrote, it might be Carr going elsewhere if Moore ends up signing with ND.
If Carr can reclassify to 2023, it could makes everything work out well from a timing & "bird in hand" perspective...
I would not be a fan of a qb reclassify he needs reps scout team isnt going to help the kid.

It seems to me that Dante has been and is still trying to find a way to NOT come to ND. Which is fine. Go somewhere else. I'm bummed we invested so much time and effort into this kid but he just seems he's trying everything to not come here. Just my opinion.
With that being said....I'd certainly take his commitment if he so inclined.
All reports are this is his timeline. He told the staff he would be taking these visits to all schools. Wouldn’t you want a kid to visit other schools and be 100 % sure your school was the perfect fit that way he doesn’t flip down the rd? I got no clue at end of day if ND gets this kid but communication is key and he has communicated to the staff everything he was going to do. He is a perfect fit for ND 4.0 student 5 star QB 2 hours away difference maker. If there was a player to go all in on it would be him.

To answer all of this. I don’t have fatigue, but I was skeptical from the beginning while being excited for ND. Once he visited a couple more places and started talking about them I personally felt like he would not end up at ND.
I do not think Carr and Moore will be on the same team. I would assume we all know for sure by next week. My feeling right now is that ND is reaching out to multiple 2023 QBs to work on visits.
Do you know or have a feeling?

Oregon offering Avery Johnson legitimately right after Moore's visit is interesting in my opinion.
Oregon has offered around ten qb’s this cycle. I like the Irish Dante Moore or bust approach better keeps us fans engaged. Now it’s time to close Irish are still his leader

Couple of miscellaneous notes. Spring evaluation period started and I’d expect some more new offers to go out. In particular after the spring game and coaches hit the road. Secondly, the transfer portal deadline for players to play this fall is May 1. Some action should start really happening with the portal and that may alter recruiting slightly depending on who’s available and able to get into ND.
I would still look for ND to lose 3-4 guys happens every year also .
