Wimbush is not a game changing QB at this level. He doesn't have Book's vision, touch, natural qb mind/ability...and his legs aren't that much better than Book's. Book can move and knows when to pick up yards with his feet. Book is our QB. Wimbush is the backup...Zaire all over again...Golson...Rees. We just need a legit QB, and I doubt PJ will start next year UNLESS he's just a superstar. Book can sling it.

Yes he's bad. After 1 season he showed no growth. His pump fake actually draws the centerfield safety over. His slowly lobbed ball, slightly underthrown, is intercepted by the opponent he tipped off with his own pump fake. Unreal. After overthrowing his TE on a busted coverage TD on the previous play. Can't wait for ND to have a great QB again...and Kizer wasn't that; a turnover machine. He could thread it one play and then quickly throw an interception into double coverage when we were in total control game wise. Brady Quinn was literally the last great QB in my eyes. Not Golson's one awesome year, or Clausen who had amazing talent but fell short. Off topic - I was so excited with CJ Sanders early on, and after he fumbled against Clemson and just killed our comeback (a game we still almost won if Kelly didn't randomly go for a two point conversion when nobody knew whether we'd need that or not at the end of the game. Corey Robinson let it go right through his hands and Chris Brown fumbles deep near the end zone when we're dominating as well), he was never given the same responsibility. Yet again, Sanders fumbles during a big game when we just need players to make plays. It's the same players who just kill this team during big games. Wimbush and Sanders.
  3. I'm on everyday to see recruiting news, this is the best place for free information on recruiting; i.e. BigHead. True Notre Dame fans are members of DD...and I appreciate it. However the board becomes too crazy/discouraged when we lose or are losing to post regularly.

That's amazing. I care more about Jaylon than ND football.
  5. Your not his surgeon. Your not a doctor either. I know this to be true because you have way too much time to be on this board 247 to have a really demanding job such as the aforementioned. You sound like a moron continuously stating your opinion on his draft status from your couch when you know nothing about the situation. Coming back to risk further injury would be a terrible decision. He better leave immediately or come back and rehab for an entire year while taking a scholarship from our team...and NEVER play. He's earned that for being as great as he is. Any player who gets a Round 1 or Round 2 grade should run to the NFL. They can finish their degree after their short careers and easily pay for the schooling themselves.
  6. Butler gone is honestly a good thing. I think he's brutal and tends to get lucky. Stanford's inability to expose Butler shows how bad their QB is. I love Hogan for his intangibles but I would never want him quarterbacking my team. All in all there's only 2 teams I didn't want to play come bowl season and we're now playing one of those two without a secondary. Hopefully we don't let this game negatively impact recruiting.
  7. Not 100% Kelly's fault but calling a two pointer at that point when we FINALLY got punched Clemson and the crowd....I said it before we failed it. Why after we finally score a TD and get some energy risk going for 2 and give life to Clemson and that stadium. And conversely taking some momentum away from our boys when you don't even know if we need 2 points. Horrendous call by Kelly. Doesn't make sense. Kizer missed a lot of easy plays but this was the first time he played ball, an he played well. I'm shocked by his composure. Awesome job. But all in all I'm friggin sick to my stomach. WR's killed momentum continuously throughout the game with those drops. First down at a critical point....drop. Ditto. Ditto. Et cetera. WTF
  8. we're ****ing brutal. why let them back in the game. kizer isnt taking us the length of the field. long ****ing season this is

    Hahaha love it
  10. Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl - Excerpt from 247sports Defensive Line: Bo Wallace Everybody at East practices knows where Wallace is at all times, because he doesn't stop talking. While the Notre Dame commit certain likes to yap, his talent today matched his flamboyance, as he was the top performer on the defensive line. Wallace can play either outside linebacker or weak-side end at the next level, but this week he is playing rush end and playing it well. He has great speed off the edge, but the best part of his performance today came in the use of his long arms, which he used to swim past tackles trying to block him to the outside. U.S. Army All-American Bowl Depth Chart West Team Tight End - Alize Jones Center - Tristen Hoge Right Guard - Jerry Tillery Outside Linebacker - Asmar Bilal Outside Linebacker - Josh Barajas 2nd String Strong Safety - Nico Fertitta Captains - Tristen Hoge and Asmar Bilal

Is that when Elmer whiffed like he does sometimes and Golson almost broke his back? If so, that was a scary throw and like the announcers said, we were very lucky that Fuller came down with that lob. Oddly enough, that play was HUGE because it kept us on the field and we eventually scored a much needed TD. But my God that was a scary scene. Elmer missed that guy, and he continued to get beat so badly at times it confuses me on whether he'll really be that superstar that we thought he'd be. He'll probably become a beast but he struggled at times this year, and struggled is putting it mildly. We do have a lot of great lineman though, and I think the line will be phenomenal from this point on, basically starting next year our line should be stocked. NVM obviously it was that play after seeing the rest of the comments. That was unbelievable.
  12. Franco 100% agree! That matte, dulled, powder coated green is beautiful. That is exactly what ND should do for our Sunday jerseys. Make a 3rd jersey that can be changed every so often, or whenever we get tired of it. Obviously keep the shamrock series as well, and that still gets reinvented every year, and we only use it once. I loved that green and white adidas uniform from 2011 or 2012....and the green, simple shamrock I liked. But Oregon's green uniform would make for an awesome template for ND. Baylor's helmets are so arrogantly shiny and just ugly IMO. If you have epilepsy I don't think you can watch Baylor play...and that's not fair.
  13. Yes sir he's wiggling free, we all know it and it's awesome. I don't want to get too far out in front of myself, but if we get this kid...woah. That would be beautiful because this kid is legit.
  14. No it's on Kelly for putting in a COLD QB to replace a kid who's lighting it up. It's Kelly's fault for putting in the QB who has done nothing but miss throws for the past 2-3 months and expect something different. If I get out of my car and tell my fiancΓ© to parallel park while I run inside the store, then I'm an idiot because I should know better. Kelly should just be smarter, it's that simple.
  15. Why would you call a run on 3rd down. On top of that we run with Cam when the only players picking up that yardage against LSU are both on the bench.
