Guest Champion10
Well an average person may be surprised in me being an ND fan(being born and raised in Southern California) and having the typical look and "lingo" that my friends have. One would think that I would be an SC fan, and with good reason. My grandfather with to the University of Southern California and so did a few of his sons. However there was one son(my dads brother tom) who desided get out of here and go to a place that we call Notre Dame to study Law. When I was a little boy the only game that mattered in out house was the ND game(even though it was at the end of Holtz tenure at ND and the beggining of Davie . anyway I believe that this early love towards ND from my family was when I became an ND fan. Guest SirJohn
Nice Champion. For me? Sigh born in Ohio all I heard was OS. Moved to Louisville, KY as a kid, rough neighborhood. My HS produced Paul Hornung, I know he's non grata now, but he was at Notre Dame then and Green Bay so that aimed my way. I got to see Ara, Divine and Holtz. So I was solid. Not to (cough! Trash an ex) but all were ND fans in my Family, wife, three girls. Davie came along the wins did not. Ex drifted as a fan my girls solid still and so excited with Weis. I was on Internet any chat room I could get into two years ago "Dump TY." I never heard of Charlie Weis and had to Ruth to find information. Living in Louisville Kentucky all it tends to be your University of Kentucky or University of Louisville. I live four blocks from U of L campus. Hasn't been easy 10 years staying true the Fighting Irish. Has it been for anyone? Most remarkable in my case is...I've never, ever been to South Bend, never attended a game in person. Just one of those far away admirers. Stay true in the long run. Go Irish. We are definetly back. I have witnessed the past so kinda know. Guest Weisguy
Family is from Chicago, moved to Ohio before I was born, its kind of funny my dads side (which i call my side as well) is Bears Irish Cubs, my mom's side is Packers Boilermakers White Sox, so we are always talking shit all year unless its hockey or basketball we all agree on the bulls and the hawks. But in a nutshell I was born a Domer
Guest Irishlad
My cousin played football for the Irish (walk on) and I got to go to one of his games when I was younger. After the game, their last home game of the year, families of players got to go onto the field and meet and get autographs from the seniors. That whole weekend was great. Was a fan ever since.
