Guest IrishTobey
For the love of everything pure and holy I'm a groomsmen on Sat. You better believe that I will have a TV snuck into the reception. I will watch this game. The wedding starts at 2 so I figure I can watch most of the 1st, all of the second and third quarters and then rush home for the fourth. A friend of mine will be at the game (I gave him the ticket I had, it was the most painful thing in my life to give up that ticket) and he will be text messaging me in the beggining so i can get updates during the service. I think I have my bases covered. Go Irish!!! and thank God for 13" TV's and rabbit ears. ND 45 USC 38!!!!! Shade down the thunder!!!!!! Guest Irish4life
man i feel bad for you. the thing is that when the irish play day games i rarely have anything to worry about except for the weather. for night games thats a different story. got to worry about the weather and my parents wanting to go out. they wanted to go out for the purdue game but i kept saying no i built up my anger and thank god they let me stay home and order a pizza. Guest IrishTobey
I4Life, Dude, you can't let ma and pa come between you and ND. Do some extra chores or something to butter them up. Get some good grades and show them your report card. They'll be putty in your hands or you can get married and get your own place like I did so I rule the cave my man and the wife knows not to touch the remote during ND games Here's to parents that love us unconditionally and here's to the Irish. Beat them surfin' boys from Cali!!!!
Guest SirJohn
That's all true. You guys are younger have your whole life ahead of you. This means Decisions. Sometimes you make them good other times...bloop, blooey. At times you have to be in two places at once..this tears the fabric. You can't expect to go a life time with out bumps. I know a Pal who did say himsel his wife expected him to go to some wedding involving her sister. His wife said "Well You decide that's your decision." He asked for advice. I told him. I'd go or watch the game but expect a freezing cold wind down from Canda from the wife." Farther, anytime a wife or family tells you it's your decision. You got deep problems. As an older I learned. Better get used to cold weather freezing temperatures early on in life cause it sort of stays around. So? Good advice if you want big troubles NOW. I guess stick with the TV idea? Guest Snatchy_McPants
I know this is last minute, but does anyone have any idea whether or not I will be able to catch the game from the Airport in San Juan, PR??? That's where I'll be for the majority of the game on a stopover before I fly out to Antigua for a wedding. I swear to you, if all they are showing in the sports bars is mother ing soccer, I'll snap like that dude's leg when Chong Li kicks it in Bloodsport. Guest IrishTobey
hey snatchy, what is up with weddings on USC day. Didn't anybody notice the mother flippin' open date the week before. Don't people plan anymore?? I guarantee you that there won't be any soccer on the tv I'm sneaking into the reception hall. Go Irish and have a safe trip back.
