Guest SirJohn
\ Already reported on the Seven Coachs going on the road. Sort of hit me about "The magnificent Seven" Movie connection and I thought it would be cool to drop the one pix where Yul and guys are lined up with guns drawn. Sort of a ND connection. Did a cut and paste of that pix and it just did not come up here at DD. ?? Filter? Would appreciate Ryan and ChestertonLep who know more about Pix, etc dropping that one movie shot in for ND/DD fans. In an aside about that movie (not all that good) Yul was bossing around on the set and you will notice most were 'fly catching' scene stealing in the background. There's even a REAL fly catching moment on camera to show the director tumbled to what was going on. Two other moments on the hearse, Steve McQueen shakes a shotgun shell next to his left ear to see if it rattles, old, You have to understand me and the fact he was deaf in that ear to appreciate the joke he did on screen. Lastly on this a scene where James Coburn is aiming a Colts 45 at a fleeing bandet and shoots. The guy is hit and falls off his horse. Bucholz remarks about more or less what a shot. Coburn says horrible i was aiming at the horse. The above is impossible with a Colts. Rage looked beyond 180 yards. However that was a rip from a real incident when Mayor 'Dog Kelly sent Wyatt Earp and Bat masterson after some gunboy shot a women in town. Finally catching up Earp and Masterson stopped and masterson using a rifle fired and shattered the distant guys arm stopping him. Earp remarked "nice Shot bat.' Bat only repiled I was aiming at the horse. Movie trivia time folks during a bye week.
Guest Snatchy_McPants
Sir, you have to use the "IMG" function to post pictures. Just take the URL from the pic you want to use. Click the "Img" button up top, paste the URL, and then click the "Img" button again to close it. Guest Snatchy_McPants
Sir John, here's a tip. When you see a pic that you want to post, right-click on it and select "properties." From that menu you will see "Adress (URL)." Copy the address shown there, and use that for your image post. I think the URL you posted was from the actual page the image was from. Guest SirJohn
Snatchy love that Kudos, awards Your #1. Just when I read seven coaches on the road that came to me The Magnificent Seven. Hey 1960. Westerns effectively dead now. Most readers don't even know about that era. My B in Law adds different faces, love for him to insert current coach staff under those hats. The SOB gave me one, It's Jimmy Cagney behind bars and I think Pat Obrien in the far side. I framed it.
