Teams highlighted in RED are teams I believe ND fans should be rooting for this week to improve NDโ€™s possible seeding in the CFP.

Friday Night
8:00 - UCLA @ Washington - FOX - should be competitive

Morning Games (Saturday)
11:00 - #3 Texas @ Arkansas - ABC - upset chance here, which could effect NDโ€™s seeding down the road depending on how other games play out
11:00 - Utah @ #17 Colorado - FOX - Will Colorado make it to their conference championship?
11:00 - #20 Clemson @ Pittsburgh - ESPN - Should be competitive, but no bearing on the CFP
11:00 - #25 Tulane @ Navy - ESPN2 - Would love to have Navy be ranked again for our SoS.

Afternoon Games (Saturday)
2:30 - Virginia @ #8 Notre Dame - NBC - Go Irish!!!
2:30 - #19 Louisville @ Stanford - ACCN - Louisville needs to keep winning as they are our second best win.
2:30 - #22 LSU @ Florida - ABC - Ill be rooting for Florida!
2:30 - Boston College @ #14 SMU - ESPN - Only because SMU is in play
3:00 - Nebraska @ USC - FOX - wouldnโ€™t mind seeing USC squeak out some victories, the computers really like USC which helps ND
3:15 - #23 Missouri @ #21 South Carolina - SECN - inconsequential ranked v ranked match-up, should be close

Evening Games (Saturday)
6:30 - #1 Oregon @ Wisconsin - NBC - Wisconsin could pull the upset, not too optimistic though
6:30 - #7 Tennessee @ #12 Georgia - ABC - Big match-up of the day, I personally think a UGA win helps ND the most.

Late Night Games (Saturday)
9:15 - Kansas @ #7 BYU - ESPN - Kansas has been pretty good lately, upset is possible

Sorry, let me add one other game to check on; it will probably be a boring game, but may factor into NDโ€™s seeding at the end of the year

2:30 - #4 Penn State @ Purdue - CBS

PSU is overrated and has no business being ahead of ND. I am not delusional to think Purdue will upset them, but I would love to see an ugly win. At the end of the year, ND and PSU are likely to be ranked next to each other and I think ND can jump PSU, here is why:

  • ND has 2 ranked wins (may possibly get another), PSU will have 0 (no shot of getting any)

  • They will have a common opponent, on the road at Purdue (ND demolished them 66-7)

  • They will have another common opponent, on the road at USC (PSU had a comeback OT victory 33-30)

  • PSU has not passed the eye test in most of their wins

No need to watch it, but definitely a score ND fans should check on.

Iโ€™m hopeful that Georgia can beat Tennessee and help ND inch up the rankings. This is essentially a playoff elimination game for Georgia if they lose. It is at Georgia. Tennesseeโ€™s starting quarterback left the game last week with a concussion. He is probable to start but may be a little off his best.

I donโ€™t know, I feel like I would rather see Tennessee win and leave no path back in whatsoever for Georgia. I mean if I had it my way, in a perfect world, Georgia would beat Tennessee and then lose to Georgia Tech. Tennessee would lose to Georgia and Vanderbilt to knock both out. Not sure I see all of that happening though.

Iโ€™ll be a Bulldog fan Saturday for sure. A Wisconsin win would be sweet but wouldnโ€™t affect ND

Of course, none of it matters if UVA pulls off the upset. Just have to win these next two games.

This perfect world is what Iโ€™m really hoping for! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

A lot of great games again this week!

Friday: UCLA @ Washington, because who wouldnโ€™t love to see an olโ€™ PAC-12 game!

Saturday -

Morning: Texas @ Arkansas, Utah @ Colorado, and Tulane @ Navy. Would love to see Texas lose another, Colorado to keep winning, and Navy I hope they win the rest of their games.

Afternoon: Go Irish!!!

Evening: Oregon @ Wisconsin, and Tennessee @ Georgia. It would be oh so great for Oregon to lose, along with Georgia.

Late Night: Kansas @ BYU, and letโ€™s hope BYU loses this one like they should have to Utah last week! ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ

Again, Go Irish!!!

I think an Oregon upset would help down the stretch as it would weaken the Oregon/Ohio State situation.

Texas-Arkansas. I think Texas is a bit overrated. Pulling for Arkansas in this one.

Utah-Colorado. Hoping for Utah to win but they are not a good team this year. I think the buffs take this.

Clemson-Pittsburgh. Always anti Narduzzi and Pitt. Taking and wanting Clemson to win.

Tulane-Navy. Yes, go Navy.

LSU-Florida. Yes, go Florida.

Boston College-SMU. Really donโ€™t know much of anything about SMU. BC is not bad this year, hope they can pull the upset.

Nebraska-USC. Would be good for USC to win a few games down the stretch, but really would rather see Nebraska take this.

Oregon-Wisky. Just canโ€™t see the Badgers pulling the upset, though I hope they do.

Tenn-Georgia. Would rather see Tenn lose to help ND, but itโ€™s difficult to pull for either of these teams.

Kansas-BYU. Kansas has been playing much better the past few games and I think they can take this one. Hope so anyways.

And of course, pulling for ND over Virginia.

I donโ€™t get how you guys think Tennessee losing helps ND. All it does is invite Georgia back into the top 12 and drop Tenn to probably #10-#11. A Tennessee win drops Georgia out for good. I prefer that scenario.

Pitt ties Clemson at 17 midway through the 4th.

Navy flopped again today, 35-0 loss.

Pitt just got a turnover on downs with about 4 mins left in the 4th at about midfield.

Pitt in the redzone under two mins to play

Pitt kicks 47yd FG to go up 20-17 with under 2 mins in the 4th.
