Just read that Dan Hicks is replacing Jack as the play by play guy on the NBC televised games. This is great news. I was wishing for this prior to and after Terico. No offense to Jack. 

Agreed.  I don’t want to hate on an ND guy but I don’t like Jack at all for games.

I had a good feeling he’d be back, and I’m good with it. I always liked Hicks.

Hicks has always been a solid broadcaster. Tirico needed a spot before he replaced Al Michaels on Sunday Night Football and after he left ESPN's Monday Night Football. Tirico was the only reason Hicks stepped aside. I was surprised that NBC would go with Jac but he showed promise as the studio host guy. I'm glad they went back to Hicks as he as the ability to tell a great story. 

Not sure if anyone listens to the radio (I don't, but will hear highlights), I would have loved Paul Burmeister to take over in the NBC Booth. He has a great voice, and I think he really understands the game (former Iowa player, IIRC).

I could not agree more, and felt that way last season! He’s great!
