I don't think anyone in particular got snubbed.  Just surprised to only see one from the offense.

I would agree. But yes, very interesting to see.

What I love though is it’s the players that vote, so this says a lot about the defense! There are a lot more ND veterans on the defensive side anyway, so it does make sense.

 

It is a player vote, right? 
In that case, it is interesting to me that only one player from the offense was voted captain, and that one player wasn’t even here last year. He must have some really good people skills. And I don’t think he would be voted captain if he wasn’t showing the team and the coaches that he has what it takes.

Never heard anyone call him a leader or talked about in that way but I could be wrong.  He's also not going to start 

 

Evans, Coogan and Greathouse are guys I heard are leader types on offense.  But Coogan might not start and Greathouse is a soph

Evans is one the came to mind for me as well.

Let the players choose.  Some teams require equal captains on both sides of the ball.  If the team supports them I'm all for it.

I think they got it right.  Maybe Cross for Mills, but 6 of one half another

Leonard is no-brainer I suppose

Kiser will go down as ND leader all-time in games played(has over 2000 snaps) 

Watts is a no-brainer

Morrison will be first team AA and best corner in country

 

Evans was hurt most of last year and Price has never really been the guy behind Estime
