jbrown_9999 941
Per Brian Driskell, besides originally focusing on lacrosse as his college sport, Kahoun played "a lot" free safety his sophomore year. Both the FS and lax focus will have hurt his star rating. Driskell makes a good point as well that ND's recent LB recruiting success is letting them roll the dice and take low floor/high ceiling LB recruits in 2024.

They are definitely after athletes at LB with a few traditional guys in the mix.
Synoptico 267
I also have noticed more multi sport athletes, which also may hurt players ratings as they arent able to do the camp circuits.

FaithInIrish Forever 3,845
Cahoun reminds me kizer. He won't hurt the team. We might not be blown but you gotta replace Bertrand and Kiser so you might as well get taller versions. ND can still 5 star shop but both Rezac and Calhoun will do their jobs when the times comes. Thats what i really think these are, insurance plans. In the past people have complained about ND getting spurned at the last minute by a 5 star and not having time to back up. This allows them to big game hunt
