  • God bless any of you in law enforcement with the way people are today. It’s bad enough managing people, I can’t even imagine how bad it is dealing with people that can’t be decent citizens

ND played its worse offensive Quarter of the year as they bliitzed us out of cover 1 Awesome part. Our defense played cover 1 too and we were better.

I want to see the same kind of discipline we’ve seen in the first two games in a more hostile environment. I watched The FSU/LSU game and the Clemson/Duke games and all four teams were sloppy as heck.

I wanna see this team stick to the game plan against a P5 opponent.  I want to see the offense continue to dominate the opponent.  I want to see the defense continue to play steadfast.

I'm taking ND to the tune of 34-13. Don't think NC St is that good this year. Want to see the D continue their stellar play from the 1st 2 games and the O keep spreading the ball around.

I feel like all this comes true IF they can just play clean.  I'm with Frankus on that.  It's early and we can win comfortably by keeping mistakes down and capitalizing on theirs.

I hope that is exactly what Freeman is saying next Monday.

If we play with passion and energy and don’t turn the ball over I think we win by 17+. This is the first real game where I think we can really evaluate this team and where we really are. It will be a tougher test than we think imo, because Hartman has struggled against State in the past.

I don't bet and won't bet. but could some explain these to me.

So bettors on ND to win have to win by 8. So Like 28-20 would cover?

I don't understand the Money line at all. EDIT: Looked up a video its just the percentage you get paid out. Notre dame wins would get paid out less than NC State wins

Total points would be like if the score was 32-20 Notre Dame the Over wins. 31-20 Notre Dame the under wins?

Thanks

Spread = how many points one team gets to make it even

Money line = odds for an outright win. So ND vs tenn state, you would need to risk 100 dollars to win 1, a game like ND/ OSU, (assuming its even money) you would risk 100 to win 100

So if ND wins by 8 the spread betters get 90 cents(110/100) odds on a dollar bet

The odds makers seem to think the win probability is about 75 percent ND.

I like the comment above.. First true road game.. Playing clean is essential. You do that you don't have issues.. You play sloppy... Have penalties and turnovers, it could be a bumpy ride to the end.. I do think they play clean.  I think 38-17 sounds fair.  I think we see Marcus become more multiple on defense... Likely to stay fairly bland... But don't be surprised we don't see some mixing and matching of personnel.   Maybe some varying 5 DB looks to see how it looks on film prior to the 23rd.
