Thanks for the welcomes.  Looking at Matt Luke's resume, it seems like he would be a fantastic hire for ND. We have a tremendous amount of talent on the team, and I lok forward to a great season.

While it's been noted that Luke is a fantastic recruiter, it sounds like one of the things that caused him to step back was the grind.

I'll be curious as to how Marcus might flex here given that he's been very public about how he wants the staff to grind on the recruiting trail, in both his words and his actions.

To be fair, a guy like that is probably asking for assurances of being OC or something like that….  I wish this info wouldn’t leak so we can just judge the final decision on its own merits.

Yes, that would be nice, but there’s always going to be leaks. Having an interview, even on campus, is no guarantee to securing the position.

Like the hire, presuming it goes through.  Like his background.  We'll see how everything comes together with whatever our new offensive system will be and what type of blocking scheme the OL will employ.  Wisky was certainly known for their power run game which can set up the pass.
