both SCum and scUM super nice

  • I was hoping it would last but I think that Bama is awake now. k State looks more motivated but Bama has way more talent.

  • Agreed. Morrison scares me, his phone has got to be blowing up.

Posted the opt outs above, but both teams are pretty good (roster). Bama will be missing 2 starters (one LB IIRC, can't remember the other). I think KSU is without 2 too. IMO, both coaches/teams taking seriously. Most Bama fans I know are let down (no CFP), and care less lol... But don't want to lose either....

Young is worried about his draft position (wants the #1 spot). Stroud is improving in mocks lately.

I read that. I was thinking more of NFL opt outs. Bama has a fair number of guys going to the NFL but they are all playing.

98 yards in 51 seconds after a goal line stand. That is a back breaker.

IMO, trying to help draft position. Stroud is trending lately, so Young needs help right now with Stroud playing in the CFP.

And Saban talked strongly about participation (very old school) and treating like a CFP game.

I was excited with 10-0...

And now 21-0 since lol.. oh well. It's Bama...

Maybe we get spoiled, and KSU started well in the 2H.

35-0...

yuck... Tide rolling...

I expected a 20+ point win, but KSU teased me...

My top 4 (best, not most deserving)...

UGA, UM, Bama, OSU...

Hope at least TCU plays well vs UM... I can see a UM blow out.

Cheering for TCU to win it all... I know, won't happen... but I'm cheering for them.

42-3... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz lol

And still a whole quarter to go...

KY with Levis opting out... the KY/Iowa game is super sucky..

So pissed I wasn't around with you guys for the Irish game yesterday.  Spent the day doing yard work and cleaning up the house inside once the game started.  I missed some, a lot of the time it was background noise as my wife and I were de-Christmasing the house.  I am working now and here for the remainder of the night to watch both CFP games.  I made separate threads for each semifinal game but we can keep the rest of the bowl chat in here.

I wasn't 100% focused either lol. Travel day, but caught it all. Still unpacking, and cleaning today with the games on. Still plenty of coffee breaks, and will focus if the games are close. Bummed I wasn't watching ND with the laptop or IPad in front of me! I did de-Christmasing for 2 houses on Thursday lol. Drinks tonight... stocked up at Costco...

Hawkeyes won, so good day in my neck of the woods.

Coworker on shift with me right now is originally from Iowa, he's a big Hawkeye fan.  I always root for them for him as well.

I just checked our local news station website a minute ago.  Jack Campbell, the stud LB for the Hawks and Butkus winner this year, grandfather was killed in a vehicle vs pedestrian accident Friday night.  The grandfather was struck by the hotel van after family was trying to tell him not to cross the street.  They pronounced him dead at the hospital.  Campbell's parents decided to wait until after the game to tell him of his grandpa's passing.

Wow that's rough., prayers for the family.  Link:  https://www.kcrg.com/2022/12/31/waterloo-man-grandfather-hawkeyes-campbell-dies-nashville-vehicle-incident/

Oh nooooo that is terrible

At work now and can no longer listen to the games but was watching at home earlier.  My goodness RG3 is terrible commentator.  Tries way too hard to make sure the viewers know he balled.
