BC is coming off their best win of the year(NC State) so they are dangerous and no ND fan will ever take them lightly. They have not been good at defending the run so that helps. QB change after the Jurkovec injury seems to have produced a 1-1 record, which is significantly better than their record previously. a 7 point loss and a 1 point win represent two of their better games. Senior day at ND also has mixed results sometimes.

If ND wins we get the ranked exciting match-up we want vs USC. Go Irish!

On if it’s overrated to get as many freshmen playing time this year

"No. I think it's important if you can. For those two guys {Jaylen Sneed and Gi'Bran Payne], they can play in the last four games and still redshirt. That was something that we kind of took into consideration now that you have four games left. They haven't played yet this year and they have ability to help us. It's always that double edged sword early in the season. Yeah, they could help us, but are they gonna play enough where you want to burn a red shirt. If we could hold them, let's hold them. Now we don't have to hold them. Sneed had a very specific responsibility and a role for Saturday. I don't know if JD wouldn't have been hurt exactly how much Jaylen would have played or if he would have played. But with JD being down, we found a great opportunity for Jaylen Sneed to go in there and have a specific role. He did a really good job. Sometimes just let those young guys get out there and go play and he showed up and did some really good things. Same thing with Gi'Bran with Joe Wilkins leaving. We needed a off-returner for kickoff return and he has been a guy back there catching kickoffs and even catches some punts. We've been holding him and now with four games left, you can play him and still get his red shirt."

I'm sure ND will find a way to make it interesting; and that is not a compliment.

They always do.

Hope it stays relatively close for the 1st half and then ND blows them away in the 2nd half.

ND running up a big lead in the 1st half worries me (though I'd luv to see it anyway!😎). Brings bad memories of those big 1st half leads against Okie St and then Navy last week. Those 2nd half collapses are inexplicable.

Anyway, ND covers the spread here, 42-13

like it. I'd like too see Lenzy put together a few good games here.

He clearly has the talent. The offense needs to find a way to effectively harness it. Of course, easier said than done…
