One of my all time favorite Notre Dame players.  Well, except for when he grabbed Kevin Hogan’s face mask during that Stanford game!  😡  I love watching him play for my Chargers too!

As an aside, I remember during the Showtime series, ‘A Season with Notre Dame Football,’ Joe Schmidt would always call him Terry Jillery.  It was so dumb, but always made me laugh because you could tell Jerry hated it and Joe thought it was the funniest thing ever!  😂

It still hurts when I think that they only had two losses during the 2015 regular season…by a total of four points.  😑  Man, what could have been.

Lol…..Yes I remember the Terry Jillery I believe the story goes Sheldon Day was his summer roommate freshman year and he started calling him it. By the way Sheldon Day his mother was a riot. I use to run into her at the ND games so often that we got our picture taken together. She use to say she wanted to adopt me and keep on traveling to the ND games after her son graduated….she was having so much fun she never wanted it to end.

That’s right!  So funny!!

And that’s so cool about Sheldon’s mom, and how she wanted to adopt you to keep going to games after he graduated!  🤣  I do remember during the show them talking about her, and you could see just how amazing she was!  One of my all time favorites was during Sheldon’s senior day when she ran out to him as he was running onto the field and they did their hand shake!  Super mom status right there!
