Saw elsewhere (NDN) mention that Patterson might play guard while Correll plays center in the belief that gets best 5 OL on the field. Supposedly, Correll does not have the bulk to play OG while Patterson can play either C or OG.

This might mean that Lugg loses his starting spot depending on how the other guard spot shakes out.

Also saw this. I would think Kristofic is more in trouble than Lugg. Lugg is a veteran who has seen it all. Doubt he would get beat out.
Lots of options still. Kristofic will have a say as will Lugg if they play or not.

Supposedly Correll had a really good spring and it gets the best 5 on the field. Definitely a battle between Lugg and Kristofic if true.

I wanted to see this last year as in my opinion Patterson will play Guard in the NFL. That was NOT BK's opinion. I base my opinion on that I compare Patterson to Zach Martin. BK Compared him to Nick Martin. We'll see what Harry Hiestand thinks

Absolutely, give me more of this in the fall. Zeke is the OL streaking down the field to make a killer block.

Setting aside the obvious caveat that this is one play. In a spring game. ...that is a helluva play. Not only does he hit the right block 25 yards down field,  5 yards in front of the RB (that isn't dawdling himself), if you watch, you'll see that he takes a fraction of a second to scan the field once he leaks out to make his read and immediately turns to the RB to call out the lane. Ability to process the play quickly, with speed (and power)? Me thinks we got ourselves a good one.
Thanks for sharing, Tailgate!

Perhaps it was poor technique and fundamentals based on poor coaching, but Correl was consistently overmatched last year. I was interested to see this. If true, hopefully Hiestand has fixed his problems.
