So, my wife brought up a very good point, so I had to come back here to see what everyone thought. She said, why would Marcus continue to go for it on 4th down multiple times if he trusted his kicker? I know Marcus said he wants to be aggressive, but she said maybe he goes for it on fourth down more because he knows that Shrader is not accurate enough and doesn’t trust him. Shrader’s one miss against Navy was wide left. The one against Ohio State was wide left too I think? I know Shrader hasn’t kicked many, but he’s 3-7! That’s 42%, which is so bad! I sit here and wonder why if he has such a big leg, he can’t kick it straight if it’s 40 yards or further? I mean, he is fine with extra points, so maybe the inaccuracy has to do with power? I’m sure I’m overreacting here, but man, Biagi’s special teams has pretty much been a non factor all season. Seeing as how there are three parts to a team, and Special Teams is one part of it, that’s not good. That’s what makes the difference in beating very good teams, which against Ohio State, Special Teams would have made a difference. Man, I really miss Mason and I hate that the Colts had to take him away. 😭 Eff the NFL and their selfish arse’s! 😡 Okay, rant over. It just makes me sad is all.

Defense to disrupt Riley Leonard's quick throws, make him move in the pocket, and make him pay when he takes too long. Also, they can put up points, so looks like we're going to need the run game and some of the young receivers to light it up. And, yes, the 11 players thing, for sure!

Well, speaking of effing Duke... I've watched them twice anticipating the matchup. And although I love QB RileyLeonard for his effort and athleticism. I really think ND's defense is going to put it on him. He can buy time, but he's not super accurate from there, and not quite fast enough, either. I think it's a good matchup for us. I just hope the team isn't as emotionally drained as we are after Ohio State. It was always a trap game either way, though.
