Alright so 48 hours later picking apart my own list.......

1. ND lacks size and depth at WR

2. Is the tight end gap really that large? Will ND really have to start 3 smaller receivers or will Colzie or Merriweather take the W receiver from futher down the list.

3. Who are your ideal graduate transfer additions?

My order changes based on going into spring, largely based on what they've proven on the field, versus going into fall camp (after summer workouts) when I expect many of the younger guys to make moves and show some potential to be impact players.

Heading into spring, I'd go:

1. Mayer (best TE in the country)

2. Styles (had his coming out party against OK St.)

3. Diggs (think he will be RB1)

4. Tyree (think Rees will move him all over to get him in space - might see time in the slot)

5. Davis (proven commodity - won't blow you away but is consistent and a real leader)

6. Lenzy (had an ok senior year, but his lack of strength after 4 years in Balis' program is concerning; injuries always a concern)

7. Wilkins (he'd be higher up without the injury - think he was on track for a solid year)

8. Estime (physical freak of nature; his game against GTech is a sign of things to come)

9. Colzie (slightly disappointed in his freshman year - thought he would have had more opportunities given lack of depth)

10. Bauman (think he is much better than #10 but injuries haven't let him see the field)

11. Evans (showed some good things, esp against VTech, but needs to add more strength)

12. Thomas (heard good things in fall camp last year, but never seeing the field despite the lack of depth at WR is telling)

13. Berrong (injuries got in the way - think he will be a weapon in 2023)

14. Salerno (always root for WOPU nation, but need to find another guy to backup the slot - he's not in the same ballpark as Finke)

15. Merriweather (he will be much higher come fall camp)

Heading into Fall Camp:

1. Mayer (future first round draft pick)

2. Styles (has a chance to be special at ND)

3. Diggs (could be the next great ND RB)

4. Tyree (Diggs will get more carries, but Tyree is going to be a real weapon at RB and in the slot)

5. Davis (he impressed in 2021 and is underrated by the fans/media - he will be an asset in 2022)

6. Lenzy (still hope he breaks out, but hard to have confidence in him being a go-to guy at this point in his career)

7. Estime (going to force his way onto the field)

8. Colzie (I hope he is further up the list - ND needs it)

9. Bauman (I think he is better than this - he will break out in 2022)

10. Wilkins (glad he came back - provides depth and senior leadership, but need other guys to step up)

11. Merriweather (he could be higher - wish he was an early enrollee)

12. Thomas (he could be higher - just need to see him in spring)

13. Evans (his time will come in 2023)

14. Berrong (ditto Evans)

15. Salerno (don't expect him to see the field at WR or PR)

Thought about having Diggs higher myself. Like how you kept the young tight ends in class order. We had the tight end gap the same, 8 spots just bauman vs evans. So your starting formation 21(2 RB 1 TE ) Mine would be 11 (1 RB 1 TE)

Guess what?ย

I like @tneun89's list better than mine!! 21 makes much more sense with Buchner.
