They have a rampant outbreak of COVID. Only 38 scholarship players currently available.
I wonder about the other big bowls coming up.
Any idea how ND is faring?

This kills me…. Who cares if they have covid at this point.  We don’t atop games for a flu outbreak, and that’s all omicron is.  If you’re a fan worried about it, get vaccinated, wear a mask or three,

Alabama would surely claim the NC if they were #5 and the CFP was not played.

I do know that Kelly said at one point this year the team is 95 percent vaccinated. I don't want to start that debate here, just remember it. Of course vaccination does not prevent infection

Yeah given the number of vaccinated NFL players and the scope of infection I think it it safe to say that without isolation the rest of bowl season could go belly up right quick.

I was starting to get bummed about the end of the season. With this we could stretch bowl season out all the way to the draft.

Maybe just roll it straight into fall camp.

people are still concerned about Covid-19? These kids will be fine... too bad the vaccine does nothing to prevent infection or the spread. It is almost like it doesn't fit the definition of vaccine, oh, that's right, they changed the definition of vaccine. 🙄

I was hoping football would be out of the woods and we wouldn't have to worry about this again.

If I'm not mistaken, the NFL is letting players play who are vaccinated and test positive for Covid-19 so long as they're asymptomatic.

If you're asymptomatic and test positive for covid without being vaccinated, you're not allowed to play.

This tells me the NFL thinks that if you're vaccinated that you're less likely to transmit covid-19.

To me that makes zero sense, but not much about this has.

Pretty sure we are a test civilization for some other.. This is a simulation 100%

I feel like this is the cdc guidelines too. My work uses this. Vaccinated and around a Covid person but are asymptotic you can still work. Sounds good to me I guess…

All I hear is “it’s safe and effective” yet it doesn’t prevent you from catching covid and the manufacturer refuses to be held liable for any side effects.

what happened to critical thinking? For a virus with over a 99% survival rate. I also don’t know one person who got the vaccine for their health, but tons who got it so they could avoid weekly testing, go to restaurants, games, etc… coercion is not consent….

I mean, I wholeheartedly agree with you.  Just wasn’t sure if there was a glitch in the Matrix or something.  🍻

So if all 4 playoff teams get covid & can’t play, does that mean ND is National champion if they win the Bowl game?

If they’ll reschedule the Fiesta Bowl they’ll reschedule the playoff games.  We don’t remember going over this last season?

It’s my understanding they’ve said that if a team cannot play in the CFP, the other team automatically wins. National championship game included.
So, if ND and Oklahoma State both play and the 4 teams above them don’t, well, at least a valid argument could be made…

I wouldn't want it. Covid-19 is overblown by a certain political party and I wouldn't claim it even has a fan of the team who won.

Seriously, if there are any remaining liberals here, Covid-19 is not a thing anymore. It is the new flu (yes, flu kill10s of thousands of people too).
