Blue hairs are the ones that call for ushers, and they aren't going anywhere with their high dollar tix..... . Local Benders are mostly blue collar Catholics who stand and yell as much as anyone. Pretty clear you don't understand the history here.... 

Peacock feedback was horrible, even by the people who signed up for it, or already had it. I already had it (with my Xfinity), and it was the worst ND experience ever..... 

If ND wants to piss off the locals, the national Catholic base, ect., they'll lose what national respect they still have. In the South, everyone thinks they're a joke already. And Catholicism which accounts for the majority of fans (not alumni) is on the decline. Add in the fact the school has become a lot more liberal which hasn't set well with some... 

But hey, I'm guessing you're young and really don't care about what ND means to most, or at least used to mean.

I’m not talking about your opinion, I’m telling you peacock and an ND network is where college football is headed, so go ahead and make it a personal attack if you want but I won’t respond to those parts.

Did you know Rockne went out of his way to make, and keep certain tickets affordable for the local Bend Catholics? And that tradition carried on till they started jacking up prices and requiring donations.... 

Did you know ND stood on a soap box and said their NBC contract was in large part to ensure all households across the nation had easy access to games?

ND is alienating a lot of people right now that have been their bread and butter. A lot of folks were pinning open letters over the Peacock stuff, Older, and more recent players were even publicly critical.

We agree.

No offense meant from my end. I’m aware of all that history, yes. But the reality is that’s where college football as a whole is headed. I don’t like it either, but our voices aren’t going to matter against network money

Welp, we shall see. They got put on blast by just about everyone, and rumor is even the coaches voiced displeasure. And supposedly the ratings sucked, and neither Peacock nor ND want them published. And that's after ND/FSU scored awesome ratings.

Now thats funny. I told my wife (a Purdue alum) that Purdue should build a small door in the visitors tunnel and make the cheerleaders and Leprechaun try to crawl through it to try to get in for 2024.  Pettiness should be met with an equal or more escalated form of trolling. 
 

The drum is silly but it’s been at every halftime performance since the 50s (hone and away). Real arrogant move by ND.
