Figured some over/under polls would be fun based it on 2013 numbers for yards and our current point outputs. Why 2013? I just see similarities at QBΒ on offenseΒ

Just to explain a bit further I based this on 2013 research and 2020 IAN BOOKΒ rushing yards.

Ian had roughly 112 attempts for about 475 yards

Β

So will Ian's rushing yards

a. turn in to passing yards

b. be picked up by another rusher

c. disappear from the offensive output

Β

I chose B. by the way. Though when Rees was the QB in '13 Β it was A

Β

I reflected each scenario in the over under questions.

I am a little worried that we will be a run heavy offense due to the loaded backfield we have coming into the year. But the Oline will be brand new and the QB is still very much an unknown. If Coan can come out and play himself into a draft pick, I think we will do well. Pyne seems to be more of a high floor - low ceiling type of guy... in my opinion.

Actually with Coan I expect alot of empty sets with both Kyren and Tyree in. Similar to when Rees was the QB. I expect the quick passing game to be Kelly's go too. As it was with Rees though teams will rush 3 and drop 8. Can Coan hit 70 percent of his his passes or can he run for 500 yards like book did?

He hit 70 percent wit the Badgers but he wasn't the star of the Badgers run heavy offense.Β

70% accuracy, we would do very well if he can get that stat over the course of the year. 500yards rushing... I dont see that happening, as long as can run to the first down line (which I think he can)

if he hits 70 he will make up thatΒ 500 yards that book rushed for in passing. I'dΒ  wouldn't think he will rush for 500 but even if he hits 65 and rushes for 200 he and book would be even. Book was like 60 percent last year.Β
