Misread your original comment. Thought you said recruiting not recruit.

Especially this year, early rankings are going to be suspect. For me, quality of other offers is what is probably best indicators of talent. 2021 fall season will also give everyone a chance to shine so I imagine that there will be more movement in recruit rankings than in an average year.

You guys need to go to Blue and Gold and watch Mike Singers interview with Amorion. His high school team camped at Bama snd Ole Miss he wasn't there on his own. He also commented on all of the people on the message boards talking about he's only a low 3 star and ND wasting a spot on the roster. Now he's blowing up and is an Under Armour All American. You guys that trash recruits should really watch what you post because they read the boards.

The problem in past years has been that Kelly was not the hardest recruiting coach and was content to shoot for Top 15 classes, falling short as recently as the 18th ranked 2020 class. After 11 or 12 years, there finally does seem to be a change for the positive - in terms of expectations, energy and in not being afraid to battle for top talent. How much of it is Kelly and how much is due to Freeman, not sure. In any case, Top 7 would be welcome as an improvement but would still fall short of Kelly's own stated goal of Top 5 classes.

In terms of Walker, it is great to see him exceed his initial ranking. Hopefully, he is a Hamilton type of player.
