Numbers are quite askew. ND and Ohio State are similar but Free $hies U at 108? What does that say?
February 1, 20213 yr comment_724603 FSU must be offering every decent high school player in Florida. What this tells me is ND, and other schools are looking at tape, looking at body type and offering kids that actually want. FSU is probably offering everyone in hopes of getting the highest rated kids, then pull the offers from the other 75 kids.
February 1, 20213 yr comment_724614 Not everyone on that list likely even has the basic academics to qualify for Notre Dame. That has to be sorted out as well probably. The interesting one is Clemson with only 1 offer.
February 1, 20213 yr comment_724616 This is a tricky situation. These kids would just be coming out of their Soph Season and a good number might not have had any season at all. I do not blame ND for being cautious with this class.
February 1, 20213 yr comment_724622 I would say academics and camps are the two main issues. I think not having camps last offseason or being able to have anyone on campus is the most important issue. ND likes seeing recruits up close. ND likes working out recruits. ND likes gauging a recruit's interest in ND before offering too.

Should ND be more aggressive in terms of early offers?
