Why? He hasn’t seen the field because of hamstring issues all year. It had nothing to do with not wanting him on the field.

I would have like to have seen him more in the mix at receiver. He was moved there mid season but saw seemingly 0 snaps. He was a track star in hs. We could have used his speed especially yesterday. Crazy not to at least give him some real snaps at a position where we need speed.

Won’t say it can’t happen but one would have to assume that won’t happen till after spring ball at least. Two to three of the WR are graduating so the spots are there to be a starter. Lenzy, Austin, Keys seems to be next up but I would think they are pushed by Watts, Johnson, and Styles.

 

With BK saying they need more weapons maybe they get a transfer who can sling it, maybe Buckner comes in and impresses, maybe the two QBs already on campus actually are better than we give them credit for, or maybe just maybe RB3 comes in and wins the job as the biggest dark horse surpassing TR and Book. Anyone to get the ball to the WRs downfield.

I think he can start other places, so why not. Good on him.

Bet my bottom buck Armstrong goes back to his home state of Kansas and resurrects his career with Les Miles and gets a shot at the NFL.
