Thoughts on whether or not ND will squeak into a Top 10 ranking or will Kelly earn another #11 finish? If the latter, then ND can claim to be a Top 11 program I guess.

I say they finish between 10-12. Even if they finish 12th, they have averaged the 9th spot in the final rankings the past 3 years.

I can see the Gophers and Hawkeyes jumping ND and only moving to 13 with ND ahead of UM, AU, and Utah.

 

Not that I agree with that but I think this team will continue to be punished for the UM loss.

Should pass up Auburn, Wisconsin, Utah and Michigan and maybe Baylor.

ND should definitely jump Utah, Wisconsin (4 losses) and Auburn (4 losses). I also think ND should jump Baylor (common opponents - Georgia and Iowa State - both favor ND). Minnesota was #16 and ND was #14 in the last AP Poll, and I don't think Minnesota will jump ND.

I agree with this. The only problem is will they get jumped by Iowa, Memphis, or Minnesota as someone mentioned. I think they land 11 again. Just to frustrate and make some here happy. It’s never easy being a fan of ND haha.

I thought about that too. I originally thought they'd fall to 7 behind Georgia, Florida, and Oregon. But ND only dropped to 5 after losing to Clemson by 30, so I think Oklahoma will likely finish around 5/6.

ND deserves the 10th spot with only 2 losses and winners of 6 in a row.covering 5 of them in blowout fashion including the bowl game. Impressive last half of the season deserves recognition in the Top 10, no doubt about it.

I’m a big Memphis fan but no way Memphis jumps the Irish...

No way should any team jump ND... It honestly depends on how far Baylor falls. I can see them falling to 10th or something and staying ahead of ND.
