Watching the end of USC/UCLA. USC is up 52-35 midway through the 4th. They have 637 total yards and over 500 yards passing. The ABC crew (Levy, Griese, McShay) are all saying that Helton deserves to stay. No argument here.

Louisville up 49-34 over Syracuse. Should be 7-4 after today and could finish 8-4 if they can beat a 6-5 Kentucky team. A lot of people thought ND looked really bad on Labor Day, but it turns out that Louisville is a pretty good team - very dangerous on offense. Satterfield would be a guy I would keep tabs on as the next HC at ND.

Virginia Tech smoked Pittsburgh 28-0. They should climb into the CFP Top 25 at 8-3.

Navy up 35-28 with 3 minutes left in the 4th, but SMU is driving. Could go to OT.

Michigan handled Indiana 39-14. They have been cruising since they lost to Penn State. Will be interested to see if this carries over to next week's game against OSU. It's in Ann Arbor, so they could possible keep it close, but OSU is so dominant, so who knows.

Stanford just took a 20-17 lead over Cal with 2 minutes left.

Stanford just gave up a 75-yard TD drive in one minute. Turnover on downs. They fall to 4-7. Really nothing to play for next week.

Their defense is really beat up. Cal had 424 yards of total offense (285 passing). Washington State the week before had 624 yards of total offense (520 passing). Book should have a field day next Saturday.

Miami loses to Butch Davis and FIU. Miami fans already want him fired, typical irrational and emotional thinking by uneducated fans. Diaz might not be the “guy”, but it’s dumb to fire a coach after 1 yr, no matter how embarrassing the loss.
