November 20, 20194 yr comment_709726 or whatever 14 day trial you might have signed up for to watch the Virginia game. did you mean the duke game? I called directv about getting the acc network for the duke game and they gave me 3 free months of the sports package (some sort of promo they had going on).
November 20, 20194 yr comment_709729 If anybody is interested in cutting the cord, YouTubeTV is great. I pay around $50 a month, and I get over 60 channels, including a ton of sports channels (all of the ESPN channels, NBC sports channels, Fox sports channels, CBS sports, MLB, Golf, NBA - the only one not included is NFL Network) and almost all of the big channels (TBS, TNT, USA, FX, Bravo, E!, AMC, Food Network, CNN, Fox News, etc.), plus basic cable (Fox, CBS, NBC, ABC).

I liked it and will probably be switching to it since I already have a Roku device for each TV that runs the Spectrum app instead of renting a cable box for each TV. The things I want to get figured out are: 1) Can a family member who lives out of state for school use it without any hassle if they use the exact same login email address as I do? Google mentions having to log into Youtube TV in your local market every three months. I am not sure if they mean the device or simply the login ID. Worst case, we mail Roku's back and forth every three months. 2) Since I get the Red Zone for free as a Colts season ticket holder - but only through the NFL app on a smartphone, can I cast or mirror the smartphone display of the NFL app to a regular TV? I will try Chromecasting it during the Colts game tonight. 3) If Chromecast doesn't work, there are various adapters to mirror an Iphone to a TV via HDMI. The $20 ones on Amazon seem to suggest that they may not work for any apps using the HDCP standard. Not sure if that includes the NFL App. Apple sells a $50 one but it is unclear whether or not it prevents HDCP content from being mirrored. The Apple website says it works with NetFlix which is supposed to be HDCP.
