Up until this game, 8 games into the season, Clemson's strength of schedule is in the 40s.

Oklahoma would have beaten Texas, Baylor, and Oklahoma State (1-3 Top 25 wins), plus they’d be a conference champion which is supposed to be a tiebreaker. No way Bama should get in if that’s what it comes down to. Even a 12-1 Oregon would have a better resume.
