Guest Irish19
and #12 in coaches. Who would've thought we'd be ranked higher than Mich Okla Mia and Iowa two weeks into the season.
Guest SirJohn
Irish19 just checked all ND sites and Domers Domain got info first. BUUUUUUUT....Business Michigan State. We need Offense and our Defense... Let's keep cool here. Celebrate a day then back to the grind. One day at a time. Let's see? Smith likes the spread offense right? Stff something down his cowboy boots he wears.
Guest Irish4life
Im pretty sure they use the spread offense. 4 WR'S and the running back. i say we use the nickel and blitz alot. make that quarterback move. as for the offense we just gotta keep doing what were doing. messing with success isnt smart. i think we can win this game big if everybody does what there supossed to. pitt and michigan are in the past. all we gotta think about now is the spartans who always play us tough. if we execute like we know we can, i see this game turning out to be like the panthers game plus its a home game so charlie gets his 1st experience there and the boys are all rowdy from going 2-0 on the road. the adrenaline will be flowing high and were scare some of those spartans players who are coming off a weak win over hawaii. i think the people on this site can beat hawaii. lol. LETS GO 3-0.
Guest SirJohn
Agree! Irish. Charlie's seen enough spreads in the NFL to know where the beans are located. Puts a test for the other spreads we will face. I like what Lewis has done with the nickle dime thing. Handle it and they will have one worn out defense on the field with those quick plays. Guest SirJohn
Coach Weis official Pressor below link. He's working on everything and #10 is 'nothing' On to Michigan State. http://und.collegesports.com/sports/m-footbl/nd-m-footbl-body.html
Guest IrishTobey
I seriously think that MSU is the second best team in the Big 10 behind OSU. The top 10 ranking is nice but the sparties are tough. I remember 98 when ND jumped to #10 in the poles after they beat Michigan. the next game was a 45-23 spanking by MSU. There are 2 big differences this year. 1 Davie was the coach 2 the game was in E Lansing. Lets hope the spartans don't ruin the great start. Charlie will have the boys ready to play the home opener. ND wins 31-17. Go Irish!!!
Guest SirJohn
Throw out the Coachs poll in the garbage can. What do they know? It's a bit like Coach Weis said he's playing on Saturdays. What's Coach Weis know? Plays a game, talks to team then staff. Think he's watching 116 oter division 1 teams? Her's all on what ND has to do With Mich State the next week. We only have the 'bottom feeding goobers in sports media worth a rank."
Guest Snatchy_McPants
Mich St. may be the most high-powered offense we will face at this point in the very young season. They currently sit at #2 in yards/game and Drew Stanton is the #1 QB in the nation in terms of Passer Rating and Efficiency. Let's listen to Coach Weis. Each week is its own entity, its own season. That being said, we are currently 0-0 this week, haven't proven anything. Let's get fired up and end this week 1-0! GO IRISH!
