I've been on here for about two years and have seen some newbies come and some old yellars go. It got me thinking what happened to some of these guys? I'll name a few who I thought were excellent contributors. Others can shine a light on what happened to them if they know, or who they thought were pretty fantastic contributors as well. Maybe, we can lure them back.

Phony- always had a unique and insightful way of writing

Black irish- great at seeing the little details about the game.

Maybe the old timers can add more to who used to be here and why they were great for the site.

IrishCalves always provided great posts as well.

I certainly can't speak for all of them and wouldn't even try but it's been pretty obvious the last two to three years that the focus of this site has become split between actual discussion on ND football and sniping back and forth between a certain four or five members. The childish discourse that happens on here is both frustrating and likely a reason at least a few "old timers" are no longer around. Or perhaps they just lurk and don't post nowadays...?

Some have dropped off the map rather mysteriously. On another Board that I am member of the mods had the real names of the members and would google them to find out that they have passed away. that was always sad to learn about. I pray all of our missing friends are safe and happy.
