Guest SirJohn
I don't know about you guys but I stayed up past 1:00 am. I woke up this morning and after a bit was trying to wonder if that was a dream last night or wishful thinking. It was a supurb start for guys trashed down, new coaching staff and all of us loyal fans. The offese was great and Defense? Where did these stars come from? A bit too many flags but it's game #1. I saw the guy kick Quinn. Then our #99 hit that guy outside the sidelines. I don't hold with any personal fouls. I was a bit peeved with #99 for doing that when we were ahead. But then I saw Coach Weis screaming in his face over and over on the sidelines. I felt sorry for him. I think it's his last PF. We invaded Pitts. Time to invade Michigan
Guest ND2k9
#99 is ronald talley, a sophomore. What i was wondering was did anyone whear all the excuses teh commentators were making for PITT? keith jackson said at least three times that "in all fairness, tyler palko's hand is in major pain" boo hoo baybe, u jammed a finger on your non throwing hand. also, all the names they butchered on our team? lol, we must have got some new guys, such as mike samarjdia (sp?) jeff smerda, shoonadoom ndookie, tom zikowski, and my favorite, asaph sharp
Guest SirJohn
Thanks ND2K9. I didn't get those excuses on TV I did read today Wanny took the blame except for a "I think they were reading the newspapers." (Players.) I did see so many Pitt players limp or helped out as well as huffing and puffing. Over in Washington, you know who was blaming the players again not himself or coaching staff. It's one game celebrations are over, the team has more confidence will get better. Invade the Big House in Michigan next.
Guest Snatchy_McPants
Good point Sir John, our players seemed to be WAY better conditioned than Pitt's. Kudos to Mendoza!
Guest SirJohn
In Fla Miami game kinda similar to Pitt so many players went down with leg cramps CC on ABC excused it humidity and blah.. Ever think of better conditioning Like Mendoza left ours? Coach Weis had no practice Friday so "legs will be fresh." Presents a tiny problem to me...Since there was no practice Monday, Labor day...we either miss a practice completely or have one Friday so maybe not so fresh????????
