I think its going to be a stale mate as far as there O line vs. Our D line. I think the difference is going to be our LB's specifically Te'o and Carlo. These aren't your Jarvious Jones pass rushing LB's these guys will fill holes and smack people right now!

Yeah cause projections are always right. I honestly don't know who will go first between Manti and Jones and I don't care. What I do know is Manti can take on the run a lot better than Jarvious and Te'o might not even be our best run stuffing LB . Have you not heard of Carlo Calabrese if not you'll here from his people soon enough.

Jones is a speed rusher and Manti is a MLB. There is a difference. In fact, the way to offset a pass rusher is to run it right at him. Te'o is built to play against offenses that pound the ball. Having Louis Nix blow up interior lines all year has helped him. Nix is going to be the toughest assignment that Barrett Jones and Chance Warmack have had in a long time, and Jones may not be 100% healthy on 1/7.

Don't get us wrong...ND fans are worried about Bama's run game, but it won't be a 350 yard night like it was with Georgia and like what most Alabama fans are predicting...there's a reason manti won all those awards

ND's D-line is "kinda like Georgia" wait what?

 

Georgia has the 80th ranked rush D and ND has the 4th. Georgia plays a high-pressure blitz system designed to get to the QB whereas NDs goal is to collapse the middle of the pocket and use their LBs to contain. Georgia's D-line is out-of-shape and tires in the 4th whereas ND rotates lineman and is well conditioned.

 

I'm glad Fluker is spending this time off not watching tape.
