Line is now at -13....

yessir!

I like it. I think it will be Golson's best game so far.

I really want Golson to have a GREAT game... like a 250yds+ passing and 3 TDs with 0 INTs game

-13 seems a bit much to me, but I sure hope they're right! I think we win but our offense needs to kick it into high gear to cover the spread.

Miami is a rather Jeckyll/Hyde team. One play, they look like super athletic world beaters that can strike down field with ease. The next, they're committing a stupid penalty, or have a breakdown in protection leading to 15 yard sacks.

All in all, ND has played with good discipline this year. They've placed a premium on ball security and turnover margin, and have done a better job at minimizing penalties. I'll take them over the U, but -13 is just out of my comfort zone. I could see this being a 10 point win where ND holds on, and I could see this being a 24+ point drubbing where Miami falls behind early and our Dline comes ready to eat. Heck, if ND lays an egg, I could see the U beating them if they aren't careful. It'd take a lot, but I'm not sure the Irish are radically superior in terms of football talent. Gotta keep playing with discipline.

If my life was on the line, I'd take the points. Here's hoping hypothetical me would end up dead, AMIRITE?!

^ haha that was funny.

This line seems fine to me...Miami defense just looks awful, and NC State turned the ball over 6 times vs the canes. I expect ND to protect the ball and force 3+ turnovers in this game. Hopefully Tommy Rees comes into this game...late in the 3rd because ND is up 30-40 points

That's a pretty lofty line imo and seemingly growing. It seems, everyone thought the line would go down not up. Apparently, our wagon is beginning to fill up. Time to remind everyone why Saturday night.

The line is only determined by the amount of money coming in.

Obviously, for that line to jump this fast, this early in the week means the cash is coming in fast and furious on the Irish and the books need to get cash in on the U. And it will keep going up until that happens. Case closed/

This makes sense to me. I've always wondered how they figure the spread.

Double those numbers and I'll be thrilled :p

lol that would put him in the top 5 for the Heisman race if he got a 500yard, 6 TD game. :p

i think that a 11.5 or 13 ND favorite is a bit high. right now im concrened with UMs OL, they are real good, real big and real physical. we do have a good front seven but if we can't be pressure on the qb then our secondary is going to be in trouble, we also can't let duke johnson rip us appart on the ground either. our defense needs to keep stepping up.
