My brother lives in PA and we are both huge ND fans. He told me today that that was word around the neighborhood. He supposedly has it down to five and ND is out because they never gave him an offer in writing.

don't think so. he just named his top 5 and we were out. we gave him a verbal offer but never a written. not sure if grades, we cooled, or he cooled and we sensed it. not sure.

Hmm, that doesn't sound too promising. As always, I'm sure there are ample contingency plans for CW though. I think we have a lot of young talent on the roster that will surprise people over the next few seasons as well.

It frustrates me, but I can't get too greedy. Whatever happened happened, we don't know what happened behind the scenes. Now it is time to move on and get Anthony Lewis.

Anything on Chris Stewart, the O line? Scheduled a visit. 4.9 GPA and seems to want to get better and LEARN more football. Seems ideal with the teachers on ND's crew.

About Chris Stewert. I heard recruiting has taken a backseat now that FB season is starting up. I think he had a game the day before the USC game and he felt that he was cutting it too close to make a visit out to ND. Instead, I think he chose MSU because he had a bye. I might be slightly off, but the base of that is true. We appear to be in good shape.

With Hunter, and many recruits, you win some and you lose some. We will lose more. But we will win more.

 

Stewart does not have a date set for ND official visit yet but wants to get here for the MSU game. The only possible conflict is that his HS team usually practices the day after a game. Of the 4 schools he is considering, we are the last for him to see.

I hope he gets a chance to get to the game, it would definitely help a ton in his recruitment. I'm sure it clears up a ton of questions about the campus and climate for the out-of-state recruits. Not to mention the fact that he'll get to see our Irish DISMANTLE MSU!

Hunter has been out for months. When Charlie want to his school to visit in the spring Hunter was absent. This didnt sit too well with Coach. Hunter is in his 3rd High School. would be surprised if he could pass academic standards.

rocco thanks for your imput. First time I have seen you. Don't be a stranger. Yes to me if I was ND Coach and came to school and kid not there I would simply erase him myself...Personal opinion. If an ND coach flew, rented car, took his time the big bucks to come... I'd drag myself there off my death bed.
