Does anyone remember Dan Connor

He is a former ND LB recruit who chose Penn State. The kid got in a little trouble. Here's the story.

 

Three Penn State football players -- including starting linebacker Dan Connor -- face discipline after making a series of prank calls that "escalated to the point of harassment," athletic department spokesman Jeff Nelson said in a statement released yesterday.

 

Connor, a sophomore, has been suspended indefinitely. He still remains on the team, but the length of his punishment is unknown. "[Head coach Joe Paterno] will decide what level of participation he will have," Nelson, speaking by phone, said.

 

Consequences for the other two players, junior safety Nolan McCready and junior wide receiver Jim Kanuch, have yet to be determined. Other Penn State players may have participated in the prank calling, Nelson confirmed yesterday. After more facts are gathered, Paterno will determine the punishment for the remainder of those involved.

 

The victim of the prank calls, according to several sources, is a retired member of the Penn State football family. Nelson refused to comment on the identity of the victim.

Jeese broker. No I really can't recall him. Am Glad he's JoePas headache now. As Coach Weis said "Good guys that go to class." The kid is wrong but sure has too much time on his hands.

Yea really. Usually I forget about recruits that didn't sign with us a week or two after NSD, but man, how did you remember him?

Connor was actually a very highly regarded MLB. I am pretty sure it came down to us and P. State. they won the childish head case.

 

I do remember pranking people---when i was 10.

10 is one thing College ball player another. I mean I have sites for ND college frat house goings on..ahahaha But there is a line fun to a problem you should not cross. Come to think of it...Once the Ex and I called up a lady friend of hers on a joke I set up. This women was a huge Tom Sellick fan (Spelling?) Magnum PI etc then. For her birthday I set up lots of pre calls to her that we managed to get Tom calling you as #1 fan. So Ex pretended to be operator I deepened my voice and constantly crinkled a celphane Cig wrapper near phone like bad connection convincing her I was out at sea in some luxury yaht

 

Hmm might explain why I have never heard from her again.

domehead That's the truth. I feel sad it all now tho I asked her what her best assets and attributes were as a Tom fan that I would love to meet in person.

 

Unfortunately when she said those attributes, etc her hubby on the other line listening in burst into laughter. She asked who was lauhging. I told her It was Don Rickles on my Yacht cracking me up.
