Greg Little WR

He's 6'3" 205 lbs and runs a 4.5 40. He's a preseason 5 star. Scout did an article on him yesterday and he had interest in ND, but no offer. Do you think he will be a second wave offer, like if Thompson or Benn don't commit? I looked at the article again today and he doesn't have ND on there anymore. What do you think?

greg little needed to send his transcrips to ND first before CW can offer him. he'll get his offer and CW and JC will stay in close contact with him, i think he'll give ND one of his five offical visits. IMO this guy is another david givens, just an overall big, strong, gifted athlete.

Little will definetely get some attention from ND. I think Bonner and Thompson are going to be tough to pull from FLA. Benn could be a lock when and if JC commits, possibly B&G game? I'm also really hoping that Ronald Johnson goes ND, he's versatile....could play on both sides.

i believe these are the WRs that have ND offers.

Arrelious Benn 6-1/208/4.45 Washington, D.C.

Wayne Bonner 6-3/184/4.5 Milledgeville, GA

Duval Kamara 6-4/205/4.6 Hoboken, NJ

Dion Lecorn 5-11/196/4.48 Ocala, FL

Deonte Thompson 6-0/180/4.28 Belle Glade, FL

Benn would be a hell of a start at WR. After him, I think we will land 2 more. One has 2 be a speed guy. Flat out flier.

Yes, Benn would be a great start. He runs a 4.4-4.45 though doesn't he? He's not slow, but he's not an all out burner. That's where Thompson would come in. I'm sure many know this, but for the ones who don't, he ran 3 straight 4.28 40s. If CW can lure him out of Florida, that would be another great pickup, and would give us a flier.

my understanding of Benn is that he is a similar type of WR as Terell Owens. Sorry to have to mention that name on this site. Benn is a fast, physical WR but not a "burner". I think if you offset him with a burner, whether it be in the slot or on the other side, I think it would make him that much better. Benn is the type of WR that you build around.

My ideal WR class would be to bring in 3 WR's. Benn, a burner, and a tall WR (6'4"-6'5"). Let's say: Benn, Thompson and Kamara. Beaumont is a guy who could also fill that "burner" spot and Greg Little, Toney Clemons, Wayne Bonner or Terrance Toliver are some guys who could fill that tall WR spot.

my three would be Arrelious Benn, Deonte Thompson and Wyane Bonner. i don't want beaumont, he's only 5'9 and we have enough small WRs (gallup, grimes and west). a few other guys could be speedster roger holland or maybe paul wilson (wilsons highlight tape is impressive).
