apparently Kick-Off is at 5:00 pm est and at the current point in time I will be in my US History class. I guess I will try to get home as fast as I can so atleast I can see the 2nd quarter on. I have no idea why our school district is making us go back on the second of January.

New Years eve is a Satueday and New Years day is a Sunday. Jeese. :( Watch the "as fast as you can" driving Champ. Tape it???

Champ,

As a historian (sounds weird) with a degree from Notre Dame that says as much, I feel I can speak for all of history when I say "Take the day off."

I believe that January 2 will be a federal holiday (I'm still waiting to hear myself). And if the federal government is closed so should local govenment including schools.

:D Well... I'm running out of ideas. If the classroom is not on first floor Tell professor you haver to leave because you have "vertigo" Just don't say it's a DVD movie by Alfred Hitchcok in the back pack. :D

Interestingly enough I do recall at my High School we had this really nice old English teacher a religious brother. I mean elderly.

Anyway one of the kids was moaning in his seat he was sick and holding his stomach. After a few seconds he shot out of his desk up towards the front bends over going "Ungaaah arhh" and splat vomit like on the floor as the kid ran out the class room door,

The poor brother is going "oh my...Oh my... can someone please clean that up?

This Pal of the guy gets out of his desk smiling and says 'Sure Brother." He bends over and picks up ne of those fake rubber vomit things.

Well class rom erupts in laughter. I think I saw tears in the brothers eyes and he left the room. I really felt bad for him. Now I'm innocent.

We started gettin a bit afraid..no teacher in room. About five minutes later (This is true name) Brother Bruno the discipinarian came in. He was just glaring at us and breathing heavy It was a weeks JUG for the entire room 2:30 till 6:00 and crap from our parents. Fond memory

:D Hi Irish4life. Hey. Dunno no one to talk to but for gosh sakes learn Spanish. A second language skill is so valuable. You have seene the posters "learn englis or get out" Well CIA and government are crying for people with language second language skills. Lets say our simply a bank teller of five. Who is more valuable and promotive then a teller than can chat with a Latino? A company in Spain in this global world write or calls your bank who knows Spanish??? These "100% American Morons" Speak English...expect a terrorist on a telephone only to speak English. :D

To my dieing day because of my hearing and simpley not caring I know so little German and Italian my relatives used. I urge you to take a second language seriously. My girls did same route and now studying in 20's to catch up what they ignoed in HS. $$$$$ One is plus in Air Force alone other civy.

I will mention my nephew James. Graduated College here. Computer whiz I call him "Jimmie the Geek" He would come over what ever screw up on my computer here he could fix in 1 minute then ask any other problems? He Built his own home computer.

He got into Japanes animi. You know those are cartoons. Crap like Bugs Bunny to me. From College he got an internship in Japan. Darn if the guy starts learning Japanese and doing all these graphic animi on computer. Did a summer Sophmore Junior and Senior year in Japan.

I mean this is paid study. He is fluent in Japanese. He said he went out to eat at a place and of course Japanese noticing he is a Westerner come up to try out their English on him. He siad they are completely floored when he starts speaking to them in fluent Japanese. They treat me like a movie star, Is what he said. He graduated 2 years ago and has spent those 2 years in Japan. Visited China twice and been to the Great wall. Things most of us will never ever dIn there I briefly mentioned his great computer grapics which is what he is doing now...but it is the language that made his way. I hope in this I got across darn do the game but hit that language. :)

JUG - Justice under God?

I've only heard guys from Cleveland, St. Ignatius and other Jesuit schools refer to detention as a JUG... Maybe one of the Detroit or Xavier Jesuit schools...

:D Xavier Brothers. :D Jeese was that discipline but I loved it. On the whole I was pretty darn good. It just did not pay to cross one of them if you know what I mean? Todays kids would not make the TI mentality. :D

You never outsmarted one. We had a School rule that only Seniors could park cars the close in streets for a block around the building. This Junior wanted not to walsk as far and repeatedly parked in restricted area. He did his Jug but fed up went to his Dad who was an attorney. Both got a city police official and went to see Brother Sylvester the Principle.

Now this is a student legal attorney and City Police Official in our principles office. The Police official explained the streets around the school are city streets and legally/lawfully the student can park there or anywhere.

Now this kid just openly challanged our Principle. :D

Brother Sylvester drums his fingers on the desk a second or so and says 'your right. Your right this young masn can park wherever he wants. So Dad, Cop and kid are smiling.

Brother Sylvester added. "You see not parking close in is a Flaget School rule. It applys only to Flaget students to be obeyed and this young man is no longer a student here. He can park wherever he wants." Boom! :D

You quickly learned do what your told when your told it.
