The Observer tonight stated at the football banquet later today at 7 among those attending..It specificly mentioned James Aldrege, Chris Stewart and possibly George West as early entries. Here the Observer has West as Wide receiver/Kick returner.

:D Ahhhhhh Thanks for the info and comparison broker that helps visulise him. Until I found the above article all I knew was he had a DB slot. That DB just doesn't tell one much. Now a receivert that can really shake a leg and turn on speed is great news. This is what I like gradually a bunch of you guys can fill in the puzzle parts and the picture becomes clear, With 12 games it would be nice to see a returner whack 6 TD's a year for Special teams. If not that take it to the 20 yard line or so.

It's not far removed that's what Weis wants to build the outstanding O a Great and thieving D and Special teams for his third scalpal/knife to plunge in.

I hope Smith come into the fold monday as you reported. I'll add this here cause in just crusing some other ND sites I can't swear. Seeing Young and Wenger might commit soon.??????? Not a paid site rumor so alot weaker to put money on. Problem is I haven't seern a word on any of our people down in Florida. That would surely make some media notice. Could be like the two For campbell guys one went to ND the other UK??

Irish Eyes has a little short teaser on will George West enroll early? I think with at least one of the EE's we get the guy is completely done with HS work and even has some CCollege credits. The problem with the Irish Eye blurb is 'by pass his last sememster in HS. Does not say if there is any classes unfulfilled? Then too would ND Admissions allow that?

I was going to say in the accompanying Eirish Eyes Pix he looked muscular. However that's a cross armed muscle building stance where you can use your hands to enhance your biceps. Try it in the mirror next time your shirts off

broker is correct. Also a real feeding base schools, but it is location. A Fla or Texas kid can toss a ball and tackle 12 months a year usually.

Even most rabid Bucknut is not going outside when it's -5 and ground is frozen solid to practice. :(

George West-Power Lifter

From Scout.com

“As they say in Oklahoma City, ‘he’s rocked up’,” coach Kroeger said of West build. “He was a regional champion power-lifter for our power lifting team that won the state championship last year. He squatted 455 pounds, dead-lifted 540 pounds and benched 285 pounds at a 181-pound body. That’s very, very impressive. So to go along with all that speed, there’s a lot of power.

"Rocked Up"

God, I love that.

this kid is a beast, we have to find a way to get him on the field, those numbers and his playmaking ability is going to make him a special player in my opinon

Yeah that's a lot of weight. I just started lifting not too long ago, and I'm in the ballpark with the deadlift and squat, but his bench destroys mine. I also give up about 30 pounds too. Any one else work out here?

you probably lift with tom lemming on one side and rob ianello on the other  .

I tried the early morning thing, but it wasn't the best fit for me. I hear that it is probably the healthier way to go though. I also read that more people stick to their schedule if they lift in the morning.
