Guest Irish4life
I dont know if this ever got posted or ever mentioned or whatever just doing it just in case. why is it that away teams get to choose on instant replay? it should be the home team. or do a coin flip or something! I think what they should really do is like have a vote on it. every coach votes and the one with the larger margin wins. I know this is alittle old and im pretty much refering to the usc game but i was thinking about it last night while i was trying to fall asleep. Guest SirJohn
Not sure myserlf Irish4. Just the way it went. was some none rerplay do to lower Div 1 unable to afford the TV? Might be factor?? Do know 2006 replay is manditory. Still has to be a flag to get the replay tho. So questionable call no flag.....no replay to decide. Guest bluester2000
It is actually the away team in out of conference games. For instance, every major conference uses it for in conference games. And when a coach chooses at the beginning of a season, I believe he decides for the whole season one way or another. No flipping in the middle. Why didn't USC elect to use it? They were playing 2 away games against ND and a decent Fresno state team. They're the defending champs. Refs are naturally going to give them the benefit of the doubt on close plays. For instance, when we played Michigan they got like 2 or 3 plays called their way that got reversed.
