Tyrone was a good Quarterbacks Coach.?

I am amased to thell all Domers that Notre Dame had a pretty good record for the last two years. Stunned to find Tyrone had a good system.

Absolutely floored to find out Tyrone weas a quarterbacks coach.I spent the last two years wondering if he was any coach at all. Tyrones twin?

While much of the credit for Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn's success this season has been attributed to new coach Charlie Weis' offensive genius, some credit, said first-year Syracuse coach Greg Robinson, also should go to former Irish coach Tyrone Willingham.

 

"He was in a good system of offense for the last two years," Robinson said. "Tyrone's a good quarterback coach. Charlie has been able to take him to the next level.

 

"I don't think that this is just something that happened overnight. This was a great player coming out of high school. I just think that he's grown more and more comfortable. The things that Charlie does aren't that much different from the things that Tyrone was doing, in some ways."

 

And despite his team being 1-8, Robinson said the Orange would approach Saturday's game the same as the first nine, "with focus, good work ethic and enthusiasm."

How can you not read that and scratch your head? I sincerely hope CW takes that comment personally when gameplanning for this weekend. Mr. Robinson, you just bought yourself and extra 14 points on your beatdown. Go IRISH!
