Wharton70
sorry to be late to the dance, but how about Tommy Regner for 76, and George Kunz for 78 (#2 in the draft behind OJ)? Kunz laying out an Iowa defender, and with Hanratty in Playboy 2

FaithInIrishForever
https://247sports.com/college/notre-dame/Article/Former-Irish-Greats-Weigh-In-On-Notre-Dame-Vs-USC-136820725/ OG- RYAN “BUBBA” LEAHY (1992-95, C) “The 1992 game (a 31-23 Notre Dame victory) was quite amazing. We were out in California. On game day, I woke up in the morning to my bed banging against the wall. I told my roommate, Mark Zataveski, to knock off whatever he was doing in the bathroom. Coach Holtz told us it was actually a small earthquake. “Actually, many of our teammates were getting the flu or some kind of food illness. Many of the players missed part or all of pre-game. The doctors, trainers and managers came through and did everything they could to get players hooked up to IVs to remedy the sickness. Reggie Brooks and Jerome Bettis ran all over USC to bring home a victory.”

But Max Siegel is #64 on this year's team. He is a walk-on, but he seems really well respected. He's had several leadership positions in terms of athletes at ND - I think he is on one of the bigger committees made up of current student athletes that works directly with the Administration.
