I saw this article over on NDnation on the 2021 Offense. He thinks WR position will be key and that there is plenty of talent there. I tend to agree with it. What do you guys think of it?

I think the plays are there if we can make them. I think Tommy will have an ability to help a drop-back passer that will show this season. Books greatest skill set, improvisation, Tommy's greatest skill set anticpation, timing and a quick release.

I was guilty in the past of putting the blame of having a poor passing attached blame mainly on Book. The article made me rethink that some. Yes Book was far from perfect as we all know but we had decent receiving talent at WR/TE/RB. You would have thought OUR COACHES could have put together a better passing attack. Last year Our passing attack was basically throw it to our bigger more physical receivers. If our coaches do not do a better job planning the passing game it really doesn’t matter who the QB or WR are.

Eh, add a different title for each year and it’s all the same. It’s Book’s fault. It’s the wide receivers fault. It’s BK’s fault. At some point, ND’s going to need a competent passing game to compete against Clemson, Alabama, and tOSU.

my instincts tell me we will have a surprisingly pass happy offense in 21....oline wont have the same experience and pass blocking comes quicker....defense will take a step back so we need points....coan likely starts ,,,but mr b may play earlier then expected....overall team will be weaker...kelly will react to that by throwing much more IMO....spring will give us hints of a more aggressive pass game for 21

Agree, Hawaii, except I think that the new DC will mask some deficiencies and the D will be as good as it was last year. Key is finding the right guy for rover.
