Shaun Crawford 7th Year of Eligibility

He could be literally the only player to get 7 years of eligibility.... At what point does he become a professional college football player? I mean, he’s gotta be the same age as Tommy Rees. If he plays a 7th year, will he graduate as Shaun Crawford, MD? And what’s it like to have four senior days? I mean senior clearly would take on a new meaning since he’d be very old at that point... 🤣🤣🤣🤣

There have been a handful of guys to get a 7th year of eligibility in the last decade in the FBS.

 

He would be the first at ND in recent memory, for sure.

Bryton Barr - Towson / UMass due to injuries. Also, Texas Tech offensive lineman Tony Morales got a seventh year granted, after missing four in a row with injuries. San Jose State running back Deontae Cooper did, too, after having three years erased by injuries. In the last decade, it’s also happened at Utah and Robert Morris
