Like his vision of the field, change of direction and great use of his blockers. With the depth we have currently, no need to rush him and allow him a year to develop and be ready for the rotation as a RS-Frosh. GO IRISH!

Does anyone have an update on us getting Diggs on NSD? LSU has been pushing hard.

It seems like it's 50/50 at this point. He is "announcing" tomorrow, despite being committed to ND. It seems like neither school feels great. I would have guessed LSU a month ago, and I would have guessed ND up until about a week ago. Based on no real information at all, I think he will end up at LSU.

His commitment tweet is still pinned at the top of his Twitter account, but then there's this from yesterday:

Logan Diggs

@logandiggs3

I regret some decisions I made, but this the life I chose..

There was speculation a while ago that he signed with ND already and was going to announce tomorrow. Listening to some opinions of people discussing this, it doesn't sound so sure at this point. Or at least if he did sign, perhaps he may not want to come here and the staff would have to decide whether to release him.

Since December, Terry Joseph also left and he had a good relationship with Diggs.

My guess is the speculation that he signed came from from BK's declaration in December that he expected to sign 2 RBs this cycle. It seems that no one really knows.

We will find out tomorrow afternoon.

Supposedly Taylor has been in on him from the get-go and that is his position coach, not Joseph. I expect him to be Irish

with all the bad vibes going around LSU this past season

LSU also signed 2 RBs in this class.

Yep, I saw that too about Taylor being in contact. I just mentioned Joseph since he's from LA, played and coached there and was probably assigned to that area too.

BK just said he is “very confident” ND adds one more signee today, which means Diggs is Irish.

Yes, I've seen some other reports from LSU sites conceding he will be Irish and saw that one of the ND recruiting sites was going to have an article posting shortly after the announcement. Hope it comes through b/c I think this kid is going to outplay his ranking.

Diggs sticks. Huge get - he had a phenomenal senior year. LSU really wanted him in their class.
